My review -

GC credentials - I'm not sure what he believes exactly. He seems to be somewhat GC, and sees the ludicrousness in the TRA position... but no evidence he completely gets it. IMO.

Comedy - he is funny, but not all the time. A fair bit is pretty unfunny and or (from where I'm say) pointlessly crass.

Worth a watch. One of the better comedians out there. As a stand-up he is a crap Stewart Lee, much less intelligent comedy. IMO. I understand Lee's GC credentials are poor.

Ricky Gervais? He's been clear that TWANW for a number of years now.

I don't think he's particularly a GC feminist (he puts his money more into animal rights, health and poverty) but he certainly spears gender stuff a lot and is utterly on the wrong side of the Genderists.

If you meant Stuart Lee then he's definitely TWAW but doesn't really seem to care much except to bash Gervais for his views.

I remember the comment but I don't think it was a reverse ferret. I think he is using sarcasm and sophistry to turn the Genderist arguments against them.

I think his point (and I'm inferring here from a lot of comments on this issue) is that he has no problem with TW being treated as women in most social situations (as none of us do) and that they deserve equal rights, but it's foolish to say that means they are literally a woman for the purposes of changing rooms, sports, sex offences etc.

He's also regularly takes the piss out of 'transwomen' who make no effort to present as women and makes that point that a passing, post-op transsexual is in no way the same thing as a burly bloke with 'she' pronouns- that to treat the latter as a woman, in any sense, is ridiculous.

TRA find it so difficult and such an existential problem to possibly define what a woman is, but they know we're definitely wrong when we say it's someone born with a womb.

They have so much confidence in claiming what a woman isn't, but no idea what one is.
