Where do things stand with Girl Guiding?

My Dd is interested in joining Rangers but I'm not sure where things stand in terms of single-sex accommodation on camps. DD went to Rainbows and her sister to Brownies but lost interest when they got older and then I joined mumsnet and became aware of the safeguarding issues and was glad they gave it a miss. I've had a quick look at the website but nothing is obvious regarding their policies and I've not kept to to date with things on here.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for information please? Thank you.

I believe their trans inclusion policy still stands. So a boy who ID's as a girl can join and share girls sleeping/ changing areas etc. And that a man who ID's as a woman can be a volunteer and will be treated as if female.

But they have settled out of court with Katie Alcock who was suing them for chucking her out of the organisation over this. They have agreed to explain what the policy means in practice to members and parents. And they won't be chucking anyone out for talking about it. So the policy remains the same but they won't be hiding it, and won't be able to hang on to 'no debate'. Their statement should be in this thread.

But there has also been some stuff going on about a leader called Monica Sulley who is a trans woman. I'm sure there will be a thread about it here. It's mentioned in the above thread I think.

Get to know the leader. Many GG leaders are GC but trying to be the change from within. It feels rather treacherous towards Katie and Helen but we keep trying to break down the stereotypes.
