Genuine question I'm only starting to get to grips with politics. Can anyone point Me in the direction I can read and understand what everyone is saying about Labour not knowing what a woman is and making it so there aren't single set spaces
Thank you

I started this thread during conference season last year which pulls together some of the frankly bizarre things Labour MPs have said.

One of the worst was Lisa Nandy saying rapists should be in women's prisons if they identity as a women.

They use the mantra transwomen are women. If you use this you can define a woman without including men in the definition of woman.

Can't define! Not can define!

The only thing you need to know is that the leader, Starmer, went on national TV and said (with a completely straight face) "that only women have cervixes is something that should not be said". I would have been more likely to vote for him had he turned up wearing a tin foil hat and claiming the earth was flat, because at least in that case he may well sincerely believe that, whereas he cannot possibly believe TWAW. Hopeless.

The following statement is from August 2020, but I don't think that the views of the Labour Campaign for Trans Rights has changed since then (their website isn't very up-to-date):

I'd look at the actual policies Labour have.

No, me neither. There are none.

They are obsessed with facilitating men to be able to access female spaces. Which goes against all safeguarding. They apparently do not know that there are two sexes which is complete and utter tripe.

If any political party can’t or won’t define woman or man then they can whistle for my vote.

Thank you all, I will have a look through all the links
