....Wheelie-bin attracted

metro.co.uk/2022/04/12/ex-soldier-exposed-her-penis-and-used-wheelie-bin-as-sex-toy-in-public-16454386/

"She has 17 convictions for 22 offences, including sexually assaulting an underage girl in 2011" but her defence is that she's having a hard time with her gender identity. 😳

Reform of IPSO can’t come soon enough. Using the wrong pronouns like this is arguably useful in peaking readers, but it’s just getting so tiresome.

CarmenThePanda · 13/04/2022 09:45

One very disturbed individual, whether trans or not.

This does demonstrate why GRA should not create a ‘firebreak’ in anyone’s legal identity and records.

It doesn’t reflect on all Trans people.

tabbycatstripy · 13/04/2022 09:45

Optimistic.

Helleofabore · 13/04/2022 09:47

Wasn’t there a pavement attracted male linked up on a thread recently too?

Agreed but at least they included this

Thompson was already on the sex offenders’ register before she had come out as trans when she was legally named Andrew McNab.

AuntyFungal · 13/04/2022 10:03

Why is ‘trans’ the get out of jail free (suspended sentence) card?

This person has a long history of multiple offending.
Has broken previous sentencing conditions and yet is still out in the community.
And still the judge is umming and ahhing about a suspended sentence.

So, either the sentencing guidance is weak or, exceptions for special types of offenders?

CervixSampler · 13/04/2022 10:04

Da fuck.

NotBadConsidering · 13/04/2022 10:31

It doesn’t reflect on all Trans people.

No, but it reflects on the reality that if a male person is in women’s single sex space, women and girls have no way of knowing if he is:

a) “just wanting to pee”
b) a transwoman like Thompson, in there to assault more women, or
c) a male taking advantage of laxity of boundaries to be like Thompson.

Thompson is trans, and according to TRAs, politicians, celebrities, and others, Thompson should have free access to women’s spaces while not in prison, every day of Thompson’s life, and women’s prison if incarcerated.

That’s what this story reflects.

EasyBreezy · 13/04/2022 10:39

Please tell me these crimes are recorded under sex ie as male crimes

Slothtoes · 13/04/2022 10:45

Please tell me criminals can’t legally just change their name to avoid their record following them around?

Yes. The train tracks discussion highlights the absurdity of denying material reality in favour of theoretical discussion.

I’m not going to debate with you about the reality of biological sex, for the same reason I wouldn’t stand on the train platform debating the finer points of physics while the man on the tracks gets ground into meat.

Why are judges leaving these people in the community able to enter women's spaces on their own say-so. Beyond even Schrodinger's rapist, it feels as if the judicial system is compelling women to be involved in the personal sales pitches way beyond listening to them.

To begin with, you must accept that I set my own risk tolerance. When you approach me, I will begin to evaluate the possibility you will do me harm. That possibility is never 0%. For some women, particularly women who have been victims of violent assaults, any level of risk is unacceptable. Those women do not want to be approached, no matter how nice you are or how much you’d like to date them. Okay? That’s their right. Don’t get pissy about it. Women are under no obligation to hear the sales pitch before deciding they are not in the market to buy.

After watching the Jimmy Savile thing on Netflix it absolutely astonishes me that the media just does not learn. Predators should have no way of using gender identity to hide themselves behind. It is so crazy

Nope.

Having a hard time? Having a bloody hard time?

Some people don’t know what a bloody hard time is…

Rockband · 13/04/2022 10:57

Having a hard time? Aw well that explains it, carry on with your sex crimes hun and don’t forget to look fabulous while you do it now you’re a woman!

EasyBreezy · 13/04/2022 11:01

How embarrassing that these are now recorded as female crimes. No wonder men don't have an issue with them being listed as females becoming more perverted. Why can't people see how damaging this is to females?

KittenKong · 13/04/2022 11:48

Funny how my own mother managed to look after a terminally ill husband and have her own mum drop dead, and managed not to flash her bits in public.

Jux · 13/04/2022 11:54

EezyBreezy they can. They don't care, it's only women.

FOJN · 13/04/2022 12:02

I'm not sure how it works if you change the name on you legal documents but don't have a GRC but there was a thread on this a couple of years ago. A GRC means anyone doing a DBS check is reliant upon a person's honesty to link their pre and post transition records together. Effectively a GRC can be the route to a "clean" record. If I've got any of that wrong I'm sure someone with a better memory will correct it.

Waitwhat23 · 13/04/2022 12:06

In addition, women can (and have been) forced to use she/her in court when referring to the male who raped them.

Women can be strip searched in custody by males and if they object, it is recorded as a hate crime.

IPOS rules mean that newspapers are obliged to use the preferred pronouns of sex offenders when reporting incidents.

The feelings of sex offenders seem to be viewed as considerably more important than women.

Women are being incarcerated with males in the female estate. Statistically, women would be imprisoned with fewer sexual offenders if they were in the male estate because those placed into the female estate (and in Scotland, self id is in play) are disproportionately more likely to have been convicted of sexual offences against women.

glinner4prez · 13/04/2022 12:27

He's not a woman. He is a male serial abuser. I refuse to be gaslighted by this total bullshit.

iirc, they're supposed to report it. There are ways of having previous records erased if you apply to particular police forces and are resident there for 12 weeks or so.

There's a recent thread with a full discussion about some aspect but I can only find this that covers some of the same territory.

I'm sorry, Slothtoes, I'm afraid I can't do that.

Does this look like 'closing a loophole'? (Glinner)

ErrolTheDragon · 13/04/2022 13:12

Someone needs to ask newspaper editors, and whoever decides the IPSO rules, whether they believe that a woman can have a penis.

Afaik their rules includenot having misleading headlines/content. They seem to flout that very regularly in coverage of males who are 'having a hardon time with their gender identity'.
