....Wheelie-bin attracted

metro.co.uk/2022/04/12/ex-soldier-exposed-her-penis-and-used-wheelie-bin-as-sex-toy-in-public-16454386/

"She has 17 convictions for 22 offences, including sexually assaulting an underage girl in 2011" but her defence is that she's having a hard time with her gender identity. 😳

This person has featured on a previous discussion here, they have a long criminal record. I’ll see if i can find it

The reply of 'not all trans people are like this, so it's unfair to make generalisations from this one individual' is completely besides the point. This person isn't 'trans' in the traditional sense. They aren't making any attempt to assimilate as the opposite sex. He is a known, repeated sexual offender who is clearly invoking trans identity as a convenient way to erase his old identity, to change his name, and to give himself an easier time in front of the judge when he is arrested. When people rush to defend him and use female pronouns, and accept his nonsense that he is 'trans' this is precisely the problem we have highlighted...that the concept of being 'trans' is now so vacuous and all-encompassing that obvious predators waving red flags can easily come under the umbrella and get prima facie acceptance and taken at face value. I don't actually know why the trans community doesn't say 'no, these people aren't trans, they have nothing to do with us.'

Yes.

Also, because statistics have not been collected on the basis of both sex and gender identity, we don't really have any way of establishing how common it is for predators to use trans as a shield while committing crimes. India Willoughby in a recent interview argued that those cases are rare and separate incidents, and perhaps they are. But we are not allowed to find out if that is the case.

EdithStourton · 13/04/2022 15:24

HER penis?
Oh do fuck off. I am so done with this shit.

You can especially fuck off if you're a sex offender. The whole female sex has had quite enough of that, thanks.

ErrolTheDragon · 13/04/2022 15:41

If they're that rare, the 'this never happens' thread would be a short zombie.

Bin sexual people exist!

Absolutely! This is exactly the "loophole" we've been warning about.

It's been quite a week in Teesside between Chloe/ Andrew and Dave the dodgy Councillor who has been convicted. I think sentencing is often quite lax up here.

Fenlandia · 13/04/2022 17:00

'Wheelie-bin attracted' Grin Oh those poor oppressed WBAs, where's Emma Watson?

KittenKong · 13/04/2022 17:11

I feel more sorry for the bin.

EmbarrassingHadrosaurus · 13/04/2022 17:54

@KittenKong

I feel more sorry for the bin.
Might it depend on whether it's a dumpster with raccoon energy?

“A lot of the people I’m friends with experience gender more as like a specific vibe rather than a physical category,” he went on. “One friend says that their gender is the same vibe as a raccoon. They’re not saying that their gender is a raccoon. They’re saying that their gender has the same, like, chaotic, dumpster vibes as raccoons.”

“Dumpster?” Anderson asked. “What would the human version of that be like?”

“There isn’t one; it’s just the same chaotic energy that their gender has,” Cody said. “Which is why it’s, like, very hard to explain. It’s just kind of like a dialect — a way to talk about gender that just kind of builds up within groups.”

@CarmenThePanda

One very disturbed individual, whether trans or not.

This does demonstrate why GRA should not create a ‘firebreak’ in anyone’s legal identity and records.

It doesn’t reflect on all Trans people.

I always find it really odd when people say 'it doesn't reflect on all Trans people' when no-one has said it does.
BootsAndRoots · 13/04/2022 23:11

No comments allowed because the Metro won't like the responses to that ridiculous headline.

It's shameful that they want to respect a sex offender's new gender identity, and in essence they are assisting an offender by publishing their new gender identity, it's almost as if it is fact.

They wouldn't publish a headline "innocent person in court" as they would be presuming an outcome and be biased in reporting. The gender identity is in dispute here in this case.

Neverreturntoathread · 13/04/2022 23:43

Really tired of seeing men like this referred to with female pronouns by newspapers.

Women don’t hump wheelie bins. They just don’t.

LittleWhingingWoman · 14/04/2022 08:56

@EasyBreezy

Please tell me these crimes are recorded under sex ie as male crimes
Nope - I'd imagine it's recorded as a woman's crimes.
Whatiswrongwithmyknee · 14/04/2022 09:26

Nope - I'd imagine it's recorded as a woman's crimes.

Yes which is why all sex-related crime stats are now completely useless - fantasy rather than reality. Does anyone much give a shit about the identity of sex offenders?
