Fair interview and good to see the trans activists being asked tough appropriate question. Sharon Davies was excellent as usual.

NotBad, I also flinched to hear Ivy, but am pleased that Ivy was linked to their previous name, Rachel McKinnon, in case anyone new to the debate should feel inclined to do some background reading.

Similar to Lavery a few days ago Ivy will be opening people's eyes to the madness. Saying transwomen don't have male bodies was just bizarre.

I thought that was an excellent point. Apparently there is a jockey who is a trans woman but it causes no friction in a sport where Rachel Blackmore has shown that she can compete on equal terms with men.

Sharron is very good at explaining things to a general audience who are less familiar with the topic.

Ivy agueing there is no difference between tw and women based on a legal technicality. Time for the GRC to be revised to remove that loophole.

Thanks op that was brilliant. Nick Robinson taking no shit and the wonderful Sharron refuting all the nonsense spouted by Veronica Ivy. It feels like the tide is finally starting to turn and we’re getting to hear from pro-women, pro-fairness now people now and having a proper debate on the radio for all the general public to hear.
I so loved Sharon’s parting conclusion that trans aren’t being banned from sports, we just want fair sports. She’s inspirational. In fact, I had no idea 620 people had signed that letter asking for fairness in womens sports and huge credit for that must surely be due to Sharron.

I misread that cs as c**s at first. Nothing would surprise me at this stage.

I think the question that wasn’t asked was how reducing testosterone turns a male into a female. That’s what VI was suggesting: a year on hormones has somehow turned Bridges into a female person.

I was stuck by how Ivy got away with saying 'well funded anti-trans groups' but Davies politely refers to Stonewall and others as 'trans rights activists'.

I bet if she'd called Stonewall a 'well funded anti-woman group' she'd have been called out. Yet no such calling out of Ivy.

Dr Ivy was exactly like an able-bodied person shrieking in outrage because they can't compete in the paralympics, completely ignoring the fact that they have the olympics. Talk about male entitlement.
