“Baroness Nicholson is an evil woman. Made a flurry of FOI’s to the NHS looking for cases where trans had attacked - or been complained about - by other women. Found none. So she simply made one up. Unforgivable. Reported by a blood-thirsty press.”

That’s a serious allegation.

When she raised her concern with staff she was told she was wrong and was swiftly discharged (even though she was still in pain and scared).

I assume this woman feels she was discharged to early due to her concerns.

Why would they do that if she was wrong? Why would they want her out?

If they did discharged her when she was still sick, that's disgraceful. Especially, if they did it based on her concerns.

@NecessaryScene

Am I supposed to believe that JP received DM's from someone JP thinks it's probably a GC troll on the 22nd March and has waiting until today to go public?

JP was talking about this on 19th March, as seen on this thread.

What we don't know is whether Baroness Norman did any checking

Baroness Nicholson said:

It is on record—I know where the case happened, who the police are and where the hospital is. I know everything about it because she gave me the full case to make sure I knew that what she was saying was true.

And as this situation with tweets shows, protecting this woman from those who would have their own agenda alongside challenges around respect for others and appropriate social behaviour is essential. The last thing a woman in this situation needs is to become a focus for the kind of pile on and treatment we've seen other women experience.
Crcohetmonster · 08/04/2022 20:38

So hold on. James Wallis says he was raped and total acceptance. A female victim says she was raped and Is gaslit and now called a liar by other ‘women’. Germaine Greer was right

ChiefWiggumsBoy · 08/04/2022 20:42

It’s only against a woman so I doubt it.

Roseglen84 · 08/04/2022 20:46

@Nimo12

India is unhinged. Tweeted the other week something about if anyone questioned them using a toilet or changing room theyd strip off and piss in front of everyone. Ew. As if a woman would do that. Reckon it's because people are peaking in droves and India know in their own heart that humans cant change sex.
Quite. India's male entitlement and aggression showing very strongly, sprinkled with intermittent delusion.

Doesn't India also believe that India has a cervix? Unless it was bought off the internet I'm not sure how that happened.

tabbycatstripy · 08/04/2022 20:51

India also joked (I think and hope it was a joke) about throwing themselves under a horse at the Grand National in protest.

Same old misogyny wrapped up in a frock.
Men ( that's the ones with a penis, the ones who can rape) lie about being rapists a million times more than women lie about being raped.

Thanks for clarifying, Necessary. I'm relieved to know that Baroness Norman verified the story.

India's tweet is incontrovertibly libellous. I hope the baroness sues.

Signalbox · 08/04/2022 21:20

@LK1972

WI Spa also 'didn't happen', until there was a published police report. And then mysterious silence from all the 'it didn't happen crowd'.
There’s definitely a pattern emerging!

they are losing their shit as the tide has turned...against them, and they have stupidly been posting online about how they will continue to use single sex spaces for women-but we now know exactly what they look like-doh! Just like the flying lawyer and Tara Hewitt, we recognise them all as the sex they truly are.

ScreamingMeMe · 08/04/2022 21:31

That word beginning with c that JP is so fond of...total projection innit.

AthenaWhite · 08/04/2022 21:32

@WelcomeMarch

I think at least two things may have been conflated here. One was an appeal for the Baroness’s help from a distressed woman who thought someone in her ward was male but turned out to be mistaken. The other is a rape that now, as I understand it, has CCTV evidence of some sort.
She wasn't mistaken, another woman who has been lied to.
Artichokeleaves · 08/04/2022 21:37

Its an interesting mindset. The first and immediate concern seems always not that a woman appears to have been hurt, but that it is obviously a maliciously manufactured attempt to harm the tweeter.

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 08/04/2022 21:52

Someone needs some quiet time to think about their actions….

And I hope the Baroness takes legal action.

BridgeofStock · 08/04/2022 22:59

Can someone clarify the Baronesses here?
Nicholson and/or Norman? Or am I not up to speed?

twilightcustard · 09/04/2022 01:57

@tabbycatstripy India also joked (I think and hope it was a joke) about throwing themselves under a horse at the Grand National in protest

Because the horse and his/her rights don’t matter a shit either. Just a tool for Willoughby’s more important entitled existence.

EmpressaurusWitchDoesntBurn · 09/04/2022 02:35

Does everyone know where Willoughby got the horse idea from? Suffragette Emily Wilding Davison threw herself under the King’s horse at a race on Derby Day in 1913.

Is that definite, Athena? I haven’t been able to find her tweet where she said she was mistaken, so I also haven’t seen any follow up.

Most recent comments I'm aware of from Gilly are in this article here, which covers the whole saga.

UK: Women Recount Staff Denying there were Men in Single-Sex Hospital Spaces

“The more I’ve become involved in and aware of this issue, I am incredibly skeptical of my own judgment being ‘confirmed’ as incorrect,” she tweeted on March 19.

“I also started to doubt whether or not the hospital had been truthful because I’d been made aware of the NHS Pledge and a clause known as Annex B. I’d heard how they were covering up and protecting trans rights over women’s and the woman’s rape was the final straw which led me to open up again.”

WelcomeMarch · 09/04/2022 09:30

Ok, thanks.

Can someone clarify the Baronesses here? Nicholson and/or Norman? Or am I not up to speed?
Apologies - it's Nicholson. I don't know why I kept calling her Norman, except it's been a long week.

I really really hope she finds herself an expensive lawyer to send Willoughby a warning letter. She doesn't actually need to sue, just threaten to sue, because Willoughby's tweet is so obviously libellous - there is no grey area, no room for saying "I meant something different". It's absolutely stark. That should result in an apology - as happened when that TRA had to apologise for lying that JKR ignored child abuse images.

Did they pick that pearl out of a catalogue as well?

I do believe they have mixed up suffragette with insufferable…
