Forgive the presumption, @Mforstater, but you’re probably busy in the pub right now, or passing on all of the fan mail to you legal team so I’ve made a new thread to carry on the fascinating discussion.

Hi all,

Thank you so much for all your support: emotional, intellectual, financial, spiritual(!) reading the Mumsnet feminism board is where this all started for me!

The case starts tomorrow.

It is all online. If you want to watch you need to email the tribunal for a log in to [email protected]

It kicks off at 10am - the first bit will be "admin" between the judges and the lawyers working out the timings, issues and any reporting restrictions hmm.

Once that is all sorted the judge and the panel will go away to read (probably for the rest of Monday and all of Tuesday)

I will most likely give evidence Wednesday and Thursday.

@tribunaltweets will be tweeting the whole thing (assuming they get permission from the judge)

Links to papers will go up throughout the case at www.hiyamaya.net.

Any other questions I am happy to answer them (apart from the ones where I have to say "that is for the tribunal to hear"...)

Bit left of center but I listened to a BBC Podcast on QAnon over the weekend - I knew about most of the bits but I'd never looked into what QAnon actually was so it was interesting.

I got to the end and it struck me that gender identity ideology is the QAnon of "the left". That is what we are dealing with here.

De-lurking to say thank you for the reporting of the tribunal and explanations of what it means in layman's terms. Or rather, confirming that the plain language used was real, and that they are actually saying these things. Out loud. For everyone to hear. And judge, and my god I've got my judgey pants on! Hopefully this will be reported by MSM at some point....

Quite. I always find it amusing when I browse Reddit (which skews heavily American) and see people debunking right wing lunacy and in the same breath spout their own brand of blatant untruths and insanity.

In the US it seems to be a battle of religion vs religion.

Yes to the puritanism/regurgitating of the grimmer societal bits of Christianity. Its the Mr Murdstone end of the market, complete with females having original sin (cis privilege) that makes them intrinsically guilty and deserving of suffering, the word 'love' gets mentioned a lot but it is nowhere to be seen in action, the righteous sitting in judgement over the heathen scum, and any break with the faith involves being cast out.

Has anyone suggested exporting non compliant females to Australia yet, or re opening workhouses? Magdalen Laundries?

Whatever the outcome of the case, it’s an awesome achievement to have brought it in the first place and to have surmounted the obstacles that you have to have got this far.

Could this be why trans gender people are lauded as Brave And Stunning, because they are free of original sun and so ‘pure’

Thanks everyone, it's been great being able to follow the proceedings on these threads. I've never before seen the TRAs stance laid out so clean and bare, in full view with nowhere to hide. And formally recorded too. What exposure!

Whatever the outcome this is a massive win for women's rights already. I am agog.

I did read that as "free of original son" for a split second. Made a weird kind of sense..
