Sarah is clearly gutted, a true trans widow and wants to be in a heterosexual relationship with a man.

He's really enjoying this isn't he.

The impression I get is that Sarah thought she’d found a love for life.

Now she’s clinging to the half-life that’s all that is left of that love.

She’s trying to sound enthusiastic over the idea of a permitted lover, whereas what she probably wants is her much loved husband back. And she can’t have that, because he no longer exists.

I suspect Sarah and her family might get turfed out when the new gf wants to move in.

That’s exactly what jumped out at me when I read it.

Also that Alexandra would be “the very woman” to break the glass ceiling for women in banking. Errr, no ....

The compromises all seem to be borne on one side of that relationship, don't they?

I read an article that said in their last few months at work Harold used to wear frilly underwear and stockings under his suit.

I have no idea what my fellow 40-something friends wear under their clothes but I’m willing to be few of them wear fancy pants and stockings to work. I know I don’t!

I found Trisha's assertions incredibly saccharine. On what basis does she assume that 80 to 90% of regular marriages are dishonest. Utter drivel. Sarah looks devastated and her husband looks smug.

Puts me in mind of the cliche Tory MP and his wife at the garden gate for the press statement when he has been caught shagging again. I feel so desperately sorry for her.😟

Couldn't watch it till the end. That poor woman just wanted to cry and was in desperate need of a hug. Whilst Alexandra was gloating on her happiness. It was uncomfortable.

Apologies, I thought from the first article (now deleted, if that thread has gone?) that she knew he was planning to transition.

It was obvious from the original article that this was a grossly inequitable relationship, and from watching the interview it was clear that Sarah was very distressed. Entirely understandably.

I don't think she really understood what it entailed (from the original article):
