Girls sent to a science camp were housed insleeping quarters with non binary male councelors, the camp says that they house residents by gender identity.
Parents were only informed when they returned from the trip.

So how does being non-binary get this teacher housed with the girls?

That's awful. It's also stupid. A nonbinary person is just as much one sex as the other so why not put them with children of the same sex for safeguarding reasons. Nonbinary females should be with the girls.

I believe it's the same excuse the Girl Guides in the UK use to justify allowing boys who identify as girls sharing bedrooms and showers etc with girls or adult males identifying as women to deal with care for girls on trips??

Sorry I'm not very well and confused. Are they saying non-binary can be anything so it doesn't matter if a 'male bodied' but gender disassociated/non-conforming person gets assigned to the girls? Despicable but it makes a logical triangle in my mind. Be whatever. Go wherever.

I’ve just seen a comment that really made me stop and take a breath. It was a comment from a mother who said that If she found out this was happening she wouldn’t let her daughter attend. It’s a science camp! Another young woman held back from another opportunity so a fucking bloke can be validated. Just another one of the countless nameless girls that will miss out on swimming teams, girl guiding, science clubs and god knows what else because of rampant male entitlement.

And you wouldn't find out in advance so you'd need to pull them when they're there or just not let them go at all.

That got me too, we want more girls to study science. How many Transwomen or Non-Binarys will now be taking an interest in this...

I just think it will go down that route now where girls will just be kept home, no science camps, no school trips no opportunities to enrich their lives and give them a leg up. It’s shit.

Like some PPs I'm thinking why the hell is ANY adult sleeping in the same room as the kids!? Any school trip I ever went on the teachers had their own rooms and we had kids only rooms. Wtf is happening to the world!? I'd be fuming if I was the parent of one of these girls

It really is the most profound insanity that people in authority are not just letting, but sanctioning adult men sleeping next to young girls because those men say out loud that they aren't male or female.
