A woman convicted three times for homicide is back behind bars after being arrested for an alleged sexual crime.

Regina Kaye Arthurell, 75, was arrested on Friday by police in Campbelltown, Sydney after a man, 55, reported several incidents of sexual touching last week. The pair know each other.

Arthurell has been taken to Campbelltown Police Station and is expected to be charged.

Alcohol was implicated in all of the killings, which were committed under her birth name Reginald Kenneth Arthurell before she came out as transgender in custody.

But why are all fucking newspapers and journalists like this 'a woman convicted three times for homicide'??

THIS is the rot and the mess we are objecting to. THIS is the sort of article I'd like to sit down and calmly discuss with a transwoman or transman (who would probably label me a T**f for just being on Mumsnet) and say 'C'mon, are you seriously saying you don't understand where we are coming from when we express our genuine discomfort and fear of where innocuously championing transgender rights is taking us?'

It's not about 'minor admin' or 'just peeing in peace' It's about all the sinister and cynical manipulation of truth and facts that leads to this absolute insult and abomination of a news report.

There was an article recently where the journalist (while having to work within the IPSO guidelines) took great pains not to lie by using feminine pronouns, instead referring to the offender (convicted of bestiality) as "the pervert".

Or at least way over 50%, which given the relative population size means there's a huge gulf between the relative offending rates.

Which makes sense because you've got the baseline male-female difference, but on top of that you've got the likelihood that a violent male sex offender will say he's a woman to get better treatment, including access to more women.

Sex offenders are massively incentivised to say they're women in some jurisdictions. I mean, it's not a hard choice is it? "So, if I just say I'm a woman, you'll lock me up with hundreds of women? Who I can lord it over and subject to abusive control with accusations of transphobia?? Let me just think a couple of seconds..."

Arthurell has reportedly been going by the name 'Regina', which violates his parole conditions that say he is not allowed to alter his appearance.

This person should never have been allowed to set foot outside a secure hospital. How did they get the ‘got out of jail free’ card then?

Another case that always leaves that big question unanswered:

Either this demonstrates that males who genuinely identify as transgender are, as a class, as equal risk to women as all other males are as a class, and hence should be kept out of women’s spaces like we do with all males, OR, this demonstrates how predatory males will use transgender identity to seek their own advantage within the judicial system. Which is it?

The SNP are planning to push through self-id, the Labour Party also have this as their policy.

According to them, the only requirement to be a woman is to say you are one. So this person is as valid as a transgender person as anyone else.

No man should be able to take on the identity of "woman".

Does be it work vice versa too then? Can a female declare themselves male and claim rights to join the masons?

No kitten. Just as no transman can inherit a title, because everyone knows they are female.

But if they change the law to to make self ID legal then women can claim all sorts of mens stuff surely. It should be fair otherwise it only benefits male borns and that’s just not kind is it?
