When the lawsuits come, who will be held responsible and why?

We know it's coming. So how will various people from various groups be implicated?

Teachers for example. How would they be able to say they didn't know?

OP posts:
MarshmallowSwede · 23/01/2022 15:41

And just so everyone knows if you don’t read the article .. the Swedish government blocked the lowering of the age for sex reassignment so it is still 18.

Now the lawsuits and cases against those who performed the breasts removals on those under 18 will be coming in. So I think it will be another wave of scandal as more and more people are speaking up about drugs they were given and what surgery was done to them beofre the age of 18.

PonyPatter44 · 23/01/2022 16:31

@MarshmallowSwede, your posts are excellent and very informative, so thank you. This sentence made me laugh, though, purely because I am very immature Do not assume just because Scandinavia has a reputation for “liberal” attitude that we are living this nude penis out and topless running around sec all over the place fantasy.

😆

MargaritaPie · 23/01/2022 16:44

Lawsuits? Who vs who and when?

Sorry I'm not following, the OP post is a bit vague.

EdithStourton · 23/01/2022 16:49

Just read the bloody thread, @MargaritaPie.

No one's job to read it for you.

MargaritaPie · 23/01/2022 16:52

Are we talking about transwomen potentially committing crimes in women's areas?

Marzipano · 23/01/2022 16:59

We are primarily talking about lawsuits from children who have been pressured, encouraged, or facilitated to undergo experimental medical treatment which leaves them infertile, or with absent or reduced sexual function, or with reduced IQ, or with reduced bone density, as well as other possible less-common effects. And where this treatment has weak or negative evidence of positive effects, especially in the groups it is now being applied to. And where there has been inadequate or entirely absent psychological evaluation prior to treatment.

No doubt there will be other lawsuits too, though.

NonnyMouse1337 · 23/01/2022 17:00

Thank you for sharing those updates, MarshmallowSwede. It is very sad that this happened in the first place, but it is encouraging to know that there might be some small measure of justice through various lawsuits. At least future generations of children will be protected.

Sweden is one of the places that trans activists insist is a shining example of 'nothing goes wrong due to gender identity', 'no conflict with women's rights' and so on. I'm glad this is being proven false and can only hope this accelerates the pushback in other countries, including the UK.

EmbarrassingHadrosaurus · 23/01/2022 17:23

We'll all be held responsible for letting it happen. Few of us will be financially accountable.

Even the trustees of the most high profile charities and organisations driving this won't be accountable as too many of them are in lockstep with politicians and policymakers.

Goatsaregreat · 23/01/2022 17:55

That's really interesting MarshmallowSwede. It's good to hear of a mature democracy that recognises all rights and is stopping one group from dominating through intimidation. Gives a bit of hope in the face of the tsunami of male demands currently drowning women.

atee · 23/01/2022 18:17

@TeenPlusCat

I think a school governing board could be held accountable if a girl were injured due to playing sport with a transgirl, or worse in toilets or in overnight accommodation.
A school in the east of England is in trouble there already I was told by a police officer friend.

A FtM pupil was housed with boys on a school overnight trip and was raped, the school, the parents of the the victim girl and some social workers colluded to hide it from the police, who are now charging everyone with peverting the course of justice.

It is not being openly reported at the moment for the protection of the victims identity, but I think we will see more of this sort of thing as the years progress.

Goatsaregreat · 23/01/2022 18:23

Yes atee. There are a number of issues in schools being dealt with "under the radar" currently - rightly as the victims are vulnerable children. But sadly we do need some of them to hit the press as that's the one thing that will make schools realise the problems they're creating - a massive safeguarding nightmare. As the Loudon County rape has done in the USA .

ArabellaScott · 23/01/2022 18:36

Thank you, Marshmallow and ItsAll.

catzwhiskas · 23/01/2022 18:53

atee no idea this had already happened in uk. Inevitable sadly. Any evidence of these shitty situations being rectified and not repeated?

KittenKong · 23/01/2022 18:54

Bloody hell @atee. That should never ever have been possible. Where are the people screaming ‘are you all mad? Human nature sucks - you know what will happen!!’ And the suckers tried to bid it? Each and every one is guilty here and I hope they are seen to pay for it. It seems like the kid is the last thing in their mind.

ArabellaScott · 23/01/2022 19:11

atee that's horrific.

ArabellaScott · 23/01/2022 19:13

What the fuck were the parents doing colluding to hide it from police?

VestofAbsurdity · 23/01/2022 19:28

@MargaritaPie

Are we talking about transwomen potentially committing crimes in women's areas?
Read the thread and work it out for yourself, no-one else seems to find it difficult.
RoyalCorgi · 23/01/2022 19:37

A FtM pupil was housed with boys on a school overnight trip and was raped, the school, the parents of the the victim girl and some social workers colluded to hide it from the police, who are now charging everyone with peverting the course of justice.

If true, this is horrifying. And it should be widely publicised. The headteacher and teachers responsible should be held accountable.

I have always felt that, although we talk a lot about the risks of allowing a male-to-female trans child in a girls' changing room, girls' dormitory etc, the risks of putting a female-to-male child in with the boys is much greater. Something like this was inevitable. It's quite hard to believe that a school was willing to take that risk.

PurgatoryOfPotholes · 23/01/2022 19:48

Why is it that it is only women on here, who are abused by trans activists as "transphobic", who seem to be aware of the possibility of "corrective rape" for females trying to live as boys/men?!

Why is it that trans activists constantly insist that transwomen are at huge risk of sexual violence from men if placed with men, and yet think transmen are safe placed with men?

This has always been the worst case scenario and it has been raised on here. I would be terrified if I found my teenage daughter was being encouraged to use male spaces at school and on school trips.

MarshmallowSwede · 23/01/2022 20:24

I really wish trans rights activists would leave Sweden and Scandinavia out of their nonsense rhetoric because I can promise you they have not spoken to or spent any significant amount of time with a Swedish or any Scandinavian woman. Of course I don’t speak for all Swedish women, but we value truth and rationality in Sweden. You can be trans, but you are still either biological man or woman.

We have long had a culture where women have had a lot more rights than even other European countries.

I mean.. we are descended from Vikings and women were also Viking warriors! Do you think we don’t know that women can do and wear what we want and we don’t have to be men to do whatever we want.

I find it amazingly insulting. And what makes them think Swedish men would think it’s ok to have us pushed aside and relegated to being beneath (men) trans women? Swedish men have a better life because Swedish do have equality and rights. And do you think we are going to be happy with penis all over the place and coming home t our Swedish men if we don’t feel safe and are unhappy! He will also be unhappy and feel upset for us.

Do people think we don’t live in reality? We understand respect and human rights so if an adult wants to be trans and at 18 get a sex change then go for it. But you do not get to dictate what women are allowed to say about ourselves, what we refer to ourselves as .. we are women. And you do not get to jangle your penis all over the place!

We do not take sauna with the men in Sweden. Most sauna is single sex.. and if there is a place where there is mixed sex then you cannot be naked in the sauna.

The only man I want to see his penis is my husband. And I do not agree with children being cursed to perpetual childhood to further any agenda. That is what puberty blockers do. It curses that child to permanent child’s body. Who would want this?

There have been trans people able to live their lives unmolested for decades in Sweden. But no one was going about jangling(is this a word?) penis in our single sex space.

Men will be men.. and there have been cases where places have had gender neutral days at places and men were going into the toilets and changing area and women left and complained! We are not ok with this sort of thing. We want dignity and respect too. Again.. Swedish women are not happy to be having strange men see us naked and we are not living our lives like a 1970s pornographic film( which I think influences the attitude towards us as ultra liberal and naked all the time).

I will always protest whenever a tra tries to use Sweden or Scandinavia as the bastion of trans utopia! No.. Sweden is for equality and if your equality is at the expense of women then it is in direct opposition to Swedish culture! I don’t see how anyone can even think that would align with how our society works. No one is above anyone else and you’re not special. You have to make society good for all. Making women unsafe, making us lie and use false words is not improving the life of women. At all.

I take great offense at my culture and nation being used to promote what is a man’s rights ideaology! I will never stand by and be silent when the rights of women are be threatened because the “feelings” of some.

You’re not going to push Swedish women aside and you’re not going to use us to promote the butchering and mutilation of children.

My father is a doctor and he regularly comments on the absolute nonsense going on in American medical schools not being able to even speak about biological sex. It’s madness.. it was always madness. It will always be madness. If people want to be mad then do that on your own.. but don’t expect Swedish women to step aside and allow penis all over the place and men to be able to come in and attack children and us to “be kind”. It infuriates me.

And I want to be directed to anyone using Sweden and Scandinavia as an example for trains rights as it stands with this current madness. I don’t mean people going and getting their sec change and getting on with life. I mean this current virulent, deranged mens rights movement in a dress ideaology… Equality is one thing, but this tra movement as I said goes completely against Swedish values for equality and safety for everyone. No one is put at a disadvantage or more special than anyone else. Frankly.. trans aren’t special. Why do they even think they have the right to demand women do anything? Or use compelled language. No.. I will directly confront anyone telling such lies!

I cannot wait for these people to be prosecuted. And I hope the mermaids clinic people in the UK are thrown under the jail!

All of these monsters need to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Imagine mutilating a 12yr old! Or a 14yr old.. and having the audacity to say you are right to do it!

I would love to arrange a worldwide women’s strike! If women just went on strike from every aspect of life until we were heard and protected from this utter nonsense.

I don’t know how this would be able to be organized or if women would even participate. But I’m sick it.. sick every time i read about a child having her breasts removed or how teachers are grooming children.

DoubleYouOhEmAyEn · 23/01/2022 20:35

Marshmellow you've absolutely made my day with your post. A worldwide strike is exactly what we need. You are articulate and inspiring Grin

DoubleYouOhEmAyEn · 23/01/2022 20:36

And yes, jangling is a word. I think you might have intended to use dangling, but jangling is way better IMO

DialSquare · 23/01/2022 20:37

And you do not get to jangle your penis all over the place!

Now this is a mantra I could get behind!

ArabellaScott · 23/01/2022 20:38

Star Marshmallow.

TheABC · 23/01/2022 20:39

Medical suits aside, I am looking forward to seeing the outcome of the various cases going on around the UK, from Alison Bailey's discrimination claim to Racquel's fight against Bristol University.

It's going to be a steady drip-drip of news, rather than a single wake-up call.
