Appears he is using 'transgender' to get lighter sentence and some lawyer is fighting for him to be put in juevey...

VelvetChairGirl · 22/01/2022 13:15

if the gender ideologists dont stand up against this stuff its going to backfire on the whole lot of them including all those they have forced teamed with who make up the rest of the alphabet.

Gumbomambo · 22/01/2022 13:17

I can’t understand why this kind of nonsense is still being tolerated. Agree with Hoardasurass can’t say what I really think.

Due to his age, Mr Tubbs cannot legally held in a county juvenile detention facility. Mr Gascón told the press that the suspect’s ‘transgender’ identity would make him vulnerable in prison.

Good. I can't really think of any reason why anyone should care if this child abuser is made to feel vulnerable.

Whatwouldscullydo · 22/01/2022 13:29

The only vulnerable one in the whole thing was the 10 yr old . Poor thing. Now everyone's more worried about her attacker Angry

TurquoiseBaubles · 22/01/2022 13:35

Is this another "no true trans" case - after all it happened in a women's bathroom and the perpetrator was male. So either:

a) a transwoman assaulted a girl; or
b) a man pretended to be trans.

Yet another event that didn't happen. Not to mention the many other crimes this person is alleged to have committed, which presumably also didn't happen.

Well this is why toilet for transgenders should be separated. I take it you do not have kids and are not concern of course.
Whatsnewpussyhat · 22/01/2022 13:55

Oh all those poor 'vulnerable' sex offenders.

Just. Fuck. Off.

Lolamento · 22/01/2022 13:55

Nobody would have the chance to pretend any gender they are not to get into female spaces.

Do judges ever say this kind of thing about elderly, disabled, anxious, depressive, gay, effeminate, geeky, weedy prisoners? (Not conflating/ criticising anyone with these characteristics, just assuming they could all be relatively vulnerable, as would be celebrities and police of course).

If not, why only the concern for trans offenders? If so, presumably there are solutions that don't involve imprisonment with the other sex?

TurquoiseBaubles · 22/01/2022 14:01

"Well this is why toilet for transgenders should be separated. I take it you do not have kids and are not concern of course."

I presume you missed the sarcasm?

No, toilets should not be separated for "transgenders". Toilets should be separated by sex, with third spaces for those who don't want to use the men's or the women's. Either way, males (however they identify) should not be in women's toilets.

Abitofalark · 22/01/2022 14:06

This happened in California, in case anyone starts thinking it's about our courts.

allmywhat · 22/01/2022 14:11

Er, they want to put a 26 year old child molester in juvenile prison?

They want to lock a child molester up with children. To keep him safe.

Aren’t those centres mostly mixed sex too? And for children as young as 10… oh, hey, that’s how old the girl he molested was.

I don’t even know why I’m surprised given that they’re locking women up with rapists.

Whatsnewpussyhat · 22/01/2022 14:12

If California, wouldn't the poor vulnerable sex offender, who claims to have special lady feelings, be put in a women's prison?

grey12 · 22/01/2022 14:17

Throw HIM in solitary 🤷🏻‍♀️

CuriousaboutSamphire · 22/01/2022 14:18

@lolamento, I think you missed the sarcasm, sheer frustration in that post.

"things that never happen".is a common phrase here. It refers to all the things women, people with common sense, predicted would happen if any form of Self ID became a reality. We were told by many who push gender ideology that the things we worried about would never happen, that we were bigots that assumed every trans person is a pervert, etc etc.

Then when such things inevitably happened we had the "not a real trans person" or "bitch deserved it" defences! Seriously, teen girls were called nasty bitches when they were visibly and verbally upset that a famous trans actor used the womens loos and scared them.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 22/01/2022 14:23

I'm pretty sure a male sex offender here got off a prison sentence entirely because there was no rehabilitation programme for "women". (Which is probably wrong anyway, but maybe it's not much needed).

ANewCreation · 22/01/2022 14:36

www.yahoo.com/news/sexual-assault-10-old-sparks-130013570.html?guccounter=1

And this is how the story has had to be doctored by the Yahoo pronoun police, referring to Tubbs throughout as a 'woman' with only one mention of transgender - to the extent of putting words into the mouth of the LA County Supervisor, Kathryn Barger.

"It’s useless to catch criminals like [Tubbs] if we don’t follow through and seek justice for victims such as the 10-year-old girl [she] sexually assaulted. She bears the burden of a lifetime of trauma," L.A. County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, whose district includes Palmdale, said in a statement. "[She] will be offered therapeutic interventions under the auspices of ‘restorative justice’ ... and possibly granted only probation or parole. Where is the justice for [her] young victim and her family?"

Can't have Tubbs who 'identifies as female' and grabbed a 10 year old girl by the throat and sexually assaulted her in a women's toilet misgendered, can we, Yahoo?

And they claim that self-id causes no problems...

Dwrcegin · 22/01/2022 14:40

Mr Gascón’s office has a policy of not prosecuting juveniles as adults. Citing scientific studies showing brain development is not complete until age 25, Mr Gascón has argued that youthful offenders would only be hardened in adult prisons, while they may be rehabilitated in juvenile custody

Here you have a person who has committed at least two sexual assaults of young girls who is now 26 years old and has a history of violent conduct in the past

This sex offender will NEVER be rehabilitated. The DA suggesting a sex offender & violent criminal is vulnerable, is so utterly offensive.

Ohsugarhoneyicetea · 22/01/2022 15:03

What happens when the sex offender also identifies as a 10 year old, do they get sent to juvenile then? Surely changing your age is no different to changing your sex.

Ohsugarhoneyicetea · 22/01/2022 15:04

Or have we not quite got to that level of supporting male sexual offenders yet. Something to look forward to.

ANameChangePresents · 22/01/2022 15:07

Brain development isn't complete until 25 so 'youthful offenders' should get softer treatment as they don't know their own minds...

14YOs are fully formed beings who know, for sure, their own future gender and reproductive intent to the point they should be architects of their own physical deconstruction.

How can both of these things be simultaneously true?

(Answer: they can't)

PonyPatter44 · 22/01/2022 15:16

Prisons in this country have specific wings to hold vulnerable prisoners, whether they are vulnerable through age, sexuality, disability, etc. I am surprised that American prisons don't have similar facilities (note: that was sarcasm - they do).
