  • How come there are 7 billion people on the planet?
  • how did anyone get married before same sex marriage became legal?

(feel free to add your own)

Eh?

NancyDrawed · 01/01/2022 15:26

I'll misquote maniac magpie with:

  • can you look me in the eye and honestly say that you have no idea which of your parents impregnated the other?
rabbitwoman · 01/01/2022 15:26

Apologies.

James max yesterday said it 'was complicated' when talking to Debbie Hayton and ulrike. I guess I have not explained very well what was going on in my head....

Made sense to me rabbit

Our brains must work in the same way 😀

Helmetbymidnight · 01/01/2022 16:15

if its so complicated then why the rush to allow males into women's prisons, refuges, changing rooms and sports without any discussion or analysis first?

GinUnicorn · 01/01/2022 16:17

How come we can see scans at 16 weeks?

Linguini · 01/01/2022 16:20

If it's so complicated, wouldn't it be best to hear out all arguments surrounding the extremely complicated thing, in order to understand.
Instead of, you know, sending death and rape threats and calling for people to be fired etc for talking.

MarshmallowSwede · 01/01/2022 16:23

It’s complicated but it was easy to identify which half of the human population would be paid less.

Funny that!

TheWeeDonkey · 01/01/2022 16:24

If its so complicated how does James Max know who to talk over, dismiss and sneer at and who to listen to and consider carefully?

Linguini · 01/01/2022 16:25

@GinUnicorn

How come we can see scans at 16 weeks?
Indeed, and in some cultures, how do people know exactly which foetuses to abort (leading to an estimated 140 million missing females globally). Seeing as male or female status is arbitrarily assigned to a baby after exiting the pregnant person...
Goatsaregreat · 01/01/2022 16:27

If it's so complicated how come every child on this planet was and is still birthed by a biological woman? No matter what people say, believe, wish for.... that pesky fact keeps getting in the way.

PurgatoryOfPotholes · 01/01/2022 16:30

If it's so complicated, how do they moderate the porn reddits that are for hosting images of "cis women" only?

rabbitwoman · 01/01/2022 16:33

If it is so complicated to define gender and allocate rights accordingly, why not stick to biological sex, which is really simples...

If it is so complicated to know who the women are, why is it so easy to know who the bigots who must be cancelled are!?

One of the most amazing coincidences of our time: that biological sex suddenly became too complicated to understand, right about the same time that men started claiming they were women and demanding women’s rights and access to all women’s spaces.

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 01/01/2022 17:20

How did we manage to sustain sexist institutions like primogeniture for so long when it’s so hard to tell who was a woman? You would think there would have been civil wars when people got confused.

PastMyBestBeforeDate · 01/01/2022 17:27

How did we manage to not let women vote for so long? Determining the right sort of man to vote was complicated for a while but excluding women was easy.

Artichokeleaves · 01/01/2022 17:48

It translates from a male (usually with no skin in the game) as 'I'm all for male supremacism, I do fundamentally believe that biological females should be subordinated so I support this, but am aware that if I actually say it I'll sound like a complete dick. It's so haaaaaaaaard......'

vivariumvivariumsvivaria · 01/01/2022 18:09

If it's so complicated how come no one has ever had a clown fish for a parent?

Gumbomambo · 01/01/2022 18:11

Stop with the fact shaming!

GinUnicorn · 01/01/2022 18:15

How did we know which sex should be prioritised in medical trials? How did we know which sex to prescribe anti depressants to when their equivalent penis holder sex are given pain medication?

How did we know which sex specific conditions should be neglected (such as endometriosis) and take typically over 5 years for a diagnosis?

GinUnicorn · 01/01/2022 18:16

The sheer gaslighting fucking fantasy of it all makes me blood boil. Everyone knows in reality.

Waftypants · 01/01/2022 18:16

If it's so complicated how do you know you're right when you don't acknowledge any opinion that differs from your own?

TheWeeDonkey · 01/01/2022 18:18

@Gumbomambo

Stop with the fact shaming!
You can't handle the truth!!!!!
rabbitwoman · 01/01/2022 18:21

If its so complicated, how come Margaret Attwood was able to write the handmaid's tale? How else would she explain what happened when the people in blue held down the people in red for the people in trousers? If its all so complicated thise scenes become a bit of a nonsense, don't they?
