She must have had a sizeable number of votes for them to include her, and they way it was highlighted in the opening paragraph was good I thought.

I also thought the other people on the list were brilliant, just goes to show the general public are at odds with the media.

Oooh, you can tell they really really really didn’t want to include her but knew it would blow up on Twitter if they didn’t. Their snarky, look at all these worthy people nominated and “in a sign of debate on gender issues” that witch JKR got mentioned too.

I am SO pleased, especially with all the Harry Potter media atm which I gather is sans JKR....the flipping person who created it all and made them rich and famous.

Great to see such an inspiring group of people. And good to see the that the Guardian have openly represented the truth of public opinion - I always like it when they remember their mission in life and are creeping back to being an ethical news source.
