"and was dropped due to it being based on a ridiculous, ideologically based set of charges"

These are your opinions.

NotBadConsidering · 22/12/2021 02:39

@nauticant

Marion Millar is still living rent free in MargaritaPie's head I see. It must have really really burned when those charges were dropped.
Incredible isn’t it? On a thread about one woman being legally targeted by Paisley, MargaritaPie can’t help drag up another woman who Paisley was cross with too. It’s an interesting pattern of posting.

Tell us, Margarita - Why do you think the case was dropped?
SolasAnla · 22/12/2021 07:20

It's rather sad to see the attempt to smear the character of some one not here to defend her good name by attempting to link her name with the name of a man accused of a large number of sex abuse incidents.

This, on a thread about a woman, who herself has made no secret of the fact that she was victimised and survived sexual abuse.

This slur of guilt by association with sex offenders BS is a reoccurring theme in the TRA playbook.

Deliriumoftheendless · 22/12/2021 07:25

Yet other predators strongly defended.

Beefcurtains79 · 22/12/2021 08:02

Is Margarita Pie supposedly a woman? Xmas Shock

EmbarrassingHadrosaurus · 22/12/2021 08:07

Charges were dropped... approx half a year after she was charged. Even though no conviction came out of it that should have been enough time for her to have a think about what she was charged for?

I occasionally wonder if some commenters have a grasp of the foundations of democracy, society, or the legal system.

Wheresthebeach · 22/12/2021 08:50

I wonder when this steps over onto harassment? It clearly is IMO, and its outrageous that it's allowed. Women are being bullied and the police are complicit. Hopefully the judgement yesterday for Harry Miller will put a stop to this nonsense.

Mind you, I do think that all the groups like Fair Play For Women and Sex Matters should start to get organised politically. We need to be a force in the political landscape to stand up for our rights.

Oh for the love of god, let it go.

It was the police who had to think about what they were doing, which is why they dropped it. She's not committed any crime, whatsoever. Vindicated from start to finish.

Total waste of taxpayers money.

Waitwhat23 · 22/12/2021 09:40

There should be public inquiry into the actions of Police Scotland who seem to have become the private enforcement arm for males who want to make vexatious complaints and as pp have said, the whole 'case' against Marion was a shocking waste of public monies. The ideological capture of Scotland's Police and Government and their determination to silence women means that they are making themselves look ridiculous. Kirkcaldy Police were soundly ridiculed by the public for investigating stickers which said 'women won't wheesht' as a hate crime.

So the police had over 6 months to find something that would hold up in court and they failed. As for having time to think about what she has done, is it really the role of the police to use a long drawn out process as a punishment, especially in cases where there is no conviction?
TheWeeDonkey · 22/12/2021 10:00

@guinnessguzzler

I'm not sure he's famous enough to need to tell people to stop talking about him, is he?! Grin. Never heard of him. Xmas Grin
All I know about the guy is he doesn't like women talking on Twitter (unique) oh and ribbons 😂
Waitwhat23 · 22/12/2021 10:04

@theweedonkey he's also in a shite soap. Anyone I know who has even the slightest interest in acting has been in it.

And you?

Have you ever thought about the whole sorry saga?

The reality behind being legally charged, taken to court for disagreeing with someone, for having your own opinions?

Let alone the long drawn out process itself.

Have you ever sat down and pondered on that marg ?

Collusion Political motivations Political emblems

Literal violence, Stickers and Ribbons boy I am just imagining a NI PSNI officer assessment of that as a non -crime hate crime.

Get up
Get dressed add bullet proof vest, check gun.
Have breakfast
Remember car keys and gun
Check for ied
Arrive in work.
Receive complaint.
Risk assess non-crime hate crime.

The fixation on Marion Millar is very troubling.

Also using the sheer vagueness/ confusion over what she was charged with, to imply that she must have done something horrendous.
That tactic hadn’t occurred to me before and it’s very nasty. If the cops won’t actually say what you did, then Pie is going to compare you to a serial rapist. Lovely.

I would hate to see that tactic spread further, but it is the fault of the police for enabling it. How Is it even possible for them to threaten to prosecute people for unspecified crimes?

PIE has got more sympathy for rapists so I'm not sure about that.
Thelnebriati · 22/12/2021 13:09

Stasi tactics. You don't have to do anything wrong now, you just have to be accused. ''No smoke without fire''.

We can guess and speculate until the cows come home; but I don't know, you don't know and neither does anyone other than the Fiscal.

ArabellaScott · 22/12/2021 16:42

So how do you feel justified to impugn and smear someone's good name if you don't know? Marion Millar was the victim of a nonsensical fabricated campaign and the charges were rightly dropped!

TheWeeDonkey · 22/12/2021 19:15

I thought this was about Ceri Black? I don't use Twitter but I've heard her being interviewed and her. Main talking point seems to be CSA. I'd be very concerned about somebody taking umbrage with that.
