Done!

ErrolTheDragon · 16/12/2021 18:47

@BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz

How can we see who has been voted for so far?
I'm not sure we can, but there are quite a lot of mentions on the Twitter thread
Mooscow · 16/12/2021 18:55

@nzborn

I'm not on Twitter is there another way
@nzborn does this work?

Frenchfancy · 16/12/2021 19:20

I like the idea of calling ourselves Rowling's Army!

RoseisMadder · 16/12/2021 19:24

Was about to post this! I know who mine is!
I ❤️ JKR

TheMoreThisReachesTheMainstrea · 16/12/2021 19:32

For the many that don’t want to hand over their details, I’m led to believe that there are such things as disposable email addresses and phone numbers just a Google search away. You don’t have to register, just use and forget

anotherchocolate · 16/12/2021 19:33

Done.

Livelifeinthebuslane · 16/12/2021 19:37

That was fun, also done!

ErrolTheDragon · 16/12/2021 19:45

The phone number was optional anyway.

TofuDelights · 16/12/2021 20:15

Done! Hoping the email address I used was 'interesting' enough not to exist!!

I also ❤️ JKR!

dropthevipers · 16/12/2021 20:43

Not bothering myself as I just don't trust The Graun these days.Would be amazed if they didn't fix it for Judith Butler to win.

LilithRises · 16/12/2021 20:57

done !

MummBRaaarrrTheEverLeaking · 16/12/2021 21:16

Done! Loving all the responses to the Guardian tweet too Grin

SweetGrapes · 16/12/2021 21:26

Done.
I was getting twitchy about my email id etc - then thought fuck it. Is this is N Korea or what Hmm

Bellendejour · 16/12/2021 21:46

Done!

notaclownfish · 16/12/2021 21:58

Voted! Thought fuck it, I'll give my email address. I said that she was standing up for women by simply speaking the truth, and I stand by that.

Abhannmor · 16/12/2021 23:09

Voted for JKR.

Abhannmor · 16/12/2021 23:11

I never got a confirmation message mind you.The form just disappeared. Hmm.

KohlaParasaurus · 16/12/2021 23:40

Done. They can have my details and they can print my comments. My "beliefs" are no secret in real life.

Campervan69 · 17/12/2021 00:58

What is hilarious is that all the Americans are now online and are voting for some 18 year old streamer. Looks like a coordinated attempt to update someone. He must have millions of children watching him who they think will vote for him. Guaranteed no-one over 18 has ever heard of him. Also interesting that they couldn't come up with a transgender option that they could all vote for.

Thingybob · 17/12/2021 01:38

Lots of people have mentioned the word 'vote' on this thread but is it a vote?

To me it seems to be about nominating someone then The Guardian picking a suitable person from these nominations to name them Person of the Year.

Having said that I did nominate JKR

rabbitwoman · 17/12/2021 06:56

Didn't all the profits from The Ickabog go to the NHS?

Isn't that deserving enough?

AsTreesWalking · 17/12/2021 07:15

Done.
I was intrigued by the 'vote Ranboo, he's given loads of money to charity' messages and looked him up.
JKR has, and is, donating money she has earned through her own original work.
Ranboo? Uses his popularity to get other people to donate their money.
OK, raising money for charity is a good thing - but it's not quite the same level of philanthropy is it?

EndoplasmicReticulum · 17/12/2021 09:18

I think Thingybob is right, it's not a Vote, is it? It's a nomination. From which the Guardian can pick someone that they deem suitable.

Carriemac · 17/12/2021 09:30
