I get really upset by these crimes reported as women's crimes. These are not our crimes! Women can, and do, horrible things but we do not jump to sexually assault strangers.

You just know, don't you. Even if it didn't say it so clearly in the article (thank God) I would never believe an actual woman would do that to another woman.

It was revealed in court Jones spent six years in a male prison in Germany for sexually abusing a six-year-old girl, before she transitioned.

So this person "will" be on the sex offenders list. Why not already on it, having served 6 years in another country for sexual abuse of a 6-year old?

I wonder if moving country, name and "gender" means that a person is treated differently from a safeguarding point of view. If "transition" hadn't occurred would a closer watch be made on someone who is obviously a serious sexual offender.

Once a sex offender always a sex offender. It’s not about the sex is it, it’s about power and intimidation whether towards a child, a woman or a vulnerable adult. It’s about using your superior muscle strength, height and weight to overwhelm another persons body, not because you want to have sex with them but because you can.

The headline should read "paedophile sexually assaults woman" because that's what Jones is - a paedophile.

So many examples of this. Calling male criminals 'women' just seems to be playing the criminals' game. This kind of reporting should be illegal, because it's basically a lie.

You are assuming that for most journalists today, critical thinking is a given. Most of them are sheltered, narcissistic, and would probably struggle to thrive in a Jobclub. It's not fair to ask them to display basic reasoning skills.
