How on earth can anyone take the views of a penis flashing individual, identifying as a woman serious?
I have been a girl/woman for over 40 years. I have known very many girls/women in that time. Not once can I recall a girl/woman feeling compelled to flash a penis at anyone.
Penis flashing is not a female pastime.

Disclaimer: I did eat penis shaped pasta at an Anne Summers party in the last 90’s if that counts.

Can I clarify here from al of you please Self ID does not currently exist in law (I thought). This person has clearly not physically transitioned. So why is the paper reporting it in this way. Why not trans woman or self identifying woman?

I don't think that's necessary. Is the victim of a woman who exposes her penis to them any more or less startled or upset than if a man exposed his penis to them? Is a woman who is raped by a woman with a penis less of a victim - or a different kind of victim - than a woman raped by a man?

I think the #notourcrimes hashtag is utter nonsense. What does it actually mean? Women trying to distance themselves from other women who happen to use their penises to commit crimes, because they themselves don't commit them? Well a high proportion of men have never raped anyone either so #notourcrimes applies to most men too.

How disgusting, custody is the best option, there is a proved link between sexual deviance like this and escalation. Lets hope the new assessments will ensure the placement is correct given the sexual element.

I said this on the threads about ‘map’. That looking at images of child abuse have a well documented link to escalation. Several told me that can’t be known because we don’t hear about those who only ever live their lives using images of child abuse and not escalate

I thought it was not-so-subtle hint from the paper's editorial team that the offender was a man but they were limited about how they could report the situation because the man identified as a woman.

The journalists all knew it was a bloody man flashing, etc but someone in the higher ranks believes TWAW or was scared the paper being seen as transphobic so they called the offender a woman but made it perfectly clear that the body & behaviour was that of a man.

Apologies for being inarticulate but I hope you can see what I'm getting at.

No. It's not illegal. The legally correct term for this pervert would be "man with the protected characteristic of gender reassignment". Which is a bit clunky, I'll admit, and more suited to a court case than a local newspaper.

Well this was in the US. The school very badly wanted to introduce formal trans policies. This genderfluid, skirt wearing rapist unfortunately happened to rape a girl anally in the girls toilets (defence tried to claim that the skirt got caught on a watch and “things happened”).

The school didn’t tell the dad about the sexual assault at first, only that there had been an “incident”. When he came and found out he got upset so the school called the police on him. That is when the poor girl was taken to hospital to have a rape kit.

There then was a school board meeting to introduce the trans toilet access policies. The board claimed that there never had been any incidents in the toilets (they lied). The dad got upset and scream that this was wrong and the dad ended up arrested and labelled a domestic terrorist by the press.

The dad was advised not to talk to the press so as not to jeopardise the case for his daughter. But when he found out that the genderfluid person had sexually assaulted another child at another school, he got a bit cross.

The mum of the genderfluid person is also very upset because they just had to drag up the sending of penis pics to 11 year old girls. So unfair. And the genderfluid person just wanted sex. It is just mean everything.

I understood from the nomad report that the thrbequalities act does not recognise self identification as a form of gender reassignment and that it is stonewall who has pushed thst interpretation? So other than fear of appearing transphobic the newspaper could have said man who self identified as a woman or trans man. Have I misunderstood?
