Leaked Documents and Audio from the California Teachers Association Conference Reveal Efforts to Subvert Parents on Gender Identity

best practices for subverting parents, conservative communities and school principals on issues of gender identity

  • we started to try and identify kids. we totally stalked what they were doing on Google, when they weren’t doing school work. One of them was googling ‘Trans Day of Visibility.’ And we’re like ‘check.’ We’re going to invite that kid
  • The advice to those who run middle school LGBTQ clubs is: keep no records, so you can plead ignorance of the membership with the members’ parents.

-If students aren’t especially interested in attending an LGBTQ club, —a good place to start is with other people’s kids.

  • Do the 'gender stuff' at the beginning of the year. Parents who oppose this material being taught to their sixth graders will find that their objections arrive too late.
  • We never crossed a line,” she says. “We’ve wanted to, but we never have.”

Yet again I find myself feeling surprised that I can still be surprised

Warmduscher · 18/11/2021 20:54

There’s something really unsettling about how the teacher describes her relationship with the students, how she misses them when they don’t come to the group, the things she gets them to talk about in the group.

It’s abusive, no two ways about it.

FindTheTruth · 18/11/2021 21:01

surveilling what the kids were looking at on the internet - stalkerish

Hmmmm.

What is with the cardboard sword next to the kindness poster in the image posted above? I’m trying to work out how it has some relevance to the rest of the display... Having seen the brightly painted trans baseball bats elsewhere I’m not entirely convinced.

Its an odd feeling, isn't it?

As a lesbian looking at responses to Shrier's breaking news, I despair at some of the American anti-gay tweeters tarring LGB with the same brush. In the UK, it's feminist women, including lesbians, fighting this homophobic North American ideology. Shrier get's it and was fuelled by empathy for lesbians being medicalised in writing her book. Some of the worst TRA's are straight people transing LGB kids - why don't so many American's get this? Is it because women don't have the equivalent to Mumsnet feminist board? is it because the ideology took hold in US/Canadian laws before anyone knew what was happening?

I feel for the smaller US/Canadian feminist and LGB groups fighting gender identity ideology - they have a bigger battle.

In the UK, so far we've seen the effects of it in Policy but not law. TRA's were thwarted by the delays to their plan caused by BREXIT. Our big problem is that TRA's go top down at a global level. Look at their success at the UN and International Olympics Committee.

the United Nations LGBT expert thinks 2 year olds should transition and is pushing it here, so that UK TRA's and politicians can go on TV and say the so-called conversion therapy bill "is backed by the UN". To the unaware public they'll hear that one sentence and think it's a good thing rather than an ideology that's sterilising lesbian and gay kids

Jesus FC this is abhorrent.

Also clear the LGB is not their interest at all.

Would you be allowed to do this with a religion? With racist views?

These are extremist tactics. My mind is in the online government prevent training. This ticks all the strategies described there.

Kotatsu · 19/11/2021 06:51

- We never crossed a line,” she says. “We’ve wanted to, but we never have.”

'a' line - but where the fuck is that line drawn?!?

Stalking kids on the internet, intentionally failing to keep records, and teaching kids the gender religion before parents have a chance to review/veto. To me that line is drawn a hell of a long way past where I would draw it!

WarriorN · 19/11/2021 06:54

After a little Googling of "non binary sword" (non binary wiki came up listing ancient Saxon words and turning them into evidence for queer communities in Anglo Saxon England ffs) it seems that swords have been adopted as a symbol of 'something' in LGBTQ communities.

The colours will signify something that I cba to check.

Lots of swords on non binary Reddit.

I'm thinking the game of thrones/ vikings inspired goth/emo/new romantic of the 2020s.

Which would be fine if they weren't a also advocating taking dangerous medical drugs, getting mastectomies and ditching any kind of boundary wrt single sex spaces, children and sexual relationships.

I saw an ad that had popped up on tumblr for mincrodosing of x sex hormones for NB; why would you give yourself pcos? as one woman who'd detransitioned said on twitter.

EishetChayil · 19/11/2021 06:54

Groomers gonna groom.

LondonWolf · 19/11/2021 06:59

We never crossed a line,” she says. “We’ve wanted to, but we never have.”

Narrator: they had in fact crossed the line…many times.

Whatwouldscullydo · 19/11/2021 07:04

Surely there have to he consequences fir this ?

I mean what they are admttinh to that we can't say but you do it to horses....is surely something that can't be overlooked.

Wtf

WarriorN · 19/11/2021 07:12

I have no idea what sort of safeguarding laws and practise they have there, but the fact they're knowingly avoiding keeping records would suggest that they know parents would complain and there'd be consequences.

I can imagine it's difficult for LGB in a very conservative environment too.

part of the reasons why TQ activists are so extreme is that they've sidled with the LGB. Parts of America are still far more homophobic than here as far as I can see.

Though the fact that they're not mentioning LGB makes me wonder if actually that's not really an issue.

WarriorN · 19/11/2021 07:13

We never crossed a line,

Indicates they know there's lines.

Kotatsu · 19/11/2021 07:14

Non-binary swords? So, what, they're just copying the Lesbian Labrys?

OK.. I am a child, and giggling because apparently the Greek Labrys, associated with female deities, is called a a bipennis in Latin

WarriorN · 19/11/2021 07:33

I wondered if that was what it is at first, but its the wrong shape seems it's a complete mish mash re swords.

Deliriumoftheendless · 19/11/2021 07:47

ACLU (American version of Stonewall) support the GSA groups. They also campaign for 'sex work is real work' and conduct trans court battles such as males in girls sports.

well funded - 1700 staff across all US states
anti science they say males have no advantage in sport
anti women - call sex-based rights as attacks on trans rights

MrsMadderRose · 19/11/2021 08:58

I know I must be naive, but why? Why try to push gender woo and transing onto kids? Surely if you believe being trans and needing to transition is a thing, you would want the resources to go to those who needed them, rather than trying to actively recruit and attract kids? Why would they want to “cross a line”?

It’s so weird and pointless.

Whatwouldscullydo · 19/11/2021 09:46

Think about it

Children confused about their gender and sex and effectively placing themselves in situations amongst adults that they usually wouldn't be in.

Children placed on drugs that keep their bodies In child like states whilst being the age if consent.

Makes allowed instant access to situations with women and girls I a state of undress.

Why wouldn't some people in society push this

WarriorN · 19/11/2021 16:37

Exactly.

Smoke and mirrors behind glitter.

The internet has enabled a lot of abusers.

(Ps rose madder is my favourite oil paint.)

MrsMadderRose · 19/11/2021 18:00

I have seen the grooming/paedophilia explanation before and that makes sense - and I think some of the concerns raised at the Tavi included parents with that kind of possible motive. But it seemed to be mainly women in that article. Maybe that is their motivation but that seems unlikely.

Maybe it is to with the cult-like aspect of it, that you have to recruit.

MrsMadderRose · 19/11/2021 18:05

warrior I love it too and all pinks...
