How have so many of these people got into positions of responsibility? Even when they leave/are pushed they just move onto the next organisation. Something is seriously wrong somewhere.

Ha ha! I've "known" that incel for years - they was an early adopter of reddit (specifically /r/scotland) as a bully pulpit for yelling about how overprivileged women are. It could have been mistaken for quite good performance art ten years ago, but being suspended from the SNP cos those humourless feminazi meanies wouldn't allow councillors to bully and slur the public in plain sight inflated they's head so much it created a monster. Murray played a big part in making these very fringe terms toxic in the first place, and spawned and fanned the flames of the rmisogynistic and homophobic rape culture that surrounds them. Murray's the gift that keeps on giving, at this point, though - that "wildly overprivileged (and overpromoted) MEEEEEE is the REAL victim!" shtick is absolute classic DARVO.

I know it's not only Scotland, but within the context of Scotland - I think we're well beyond the point where very few people are willing to wade into the toxicity of Scottish electoral/party politics (at least among the established "big five" parties) except the people who are CREATING that toxicity. And most people are voting party over principle for no logical reason or good outcome.
