Grace lavery at 2am sunday morning put out a post asking british feminists for a debate , when they are in the uk in march , about 3 minutes later claimed people were too scared to debate 🙄
Helen Joyce, Julie Bindle and a few more woman have said yes ,grace is now saying no one has confirmed and that they are backing out.
So does anyone thing this will actually go ahead and want to place bets on the excuses why suddenly it cannot go ahead , backpeddling already started , ie: no one is organising ect

@Helleofabore

Well, in a surprising development Lavery has declined an invite to talk with Sal Grover from Giggle.

Apparently Lavery is not doing ‘zoom’ at the moment .

No … of course not! The book isn’t out yet and it would be really bad publicity to be shown as unable to construct an evidenced argument rather than mock and abuse people who disagree.

Oh gosh what a surprise blow me down.

There should be t* only changing rooms where 'unhappy GC kids and their bigoted parents can go'

Shock

OMG Grace tried to exclude us from mixed sex changing rooms?

Okay, then.

I also noticed she was quite the bully, like quote tweeting my tweets and tweeting screenshots of our interactions - out of context of course.

I thought this was supposed to be really poor twitter etiquette? Maybe to be expected from smaller accounts but if someone has tens of thousands of followers isn't it bad form to set their followers on a much smaller account?

Well, the pile on never came, and I absolutely ratio'd her, so maybe they were roooting for me!!!

I watched some of that debate unfold over the weekend rabbit, it really showed Lavery up. The lack of knowledge about the daily lives of women and children and how communal changing rooms work

The twisting they engaged in is not unusual but really showed their dishonesty and that hateful mocking when the dishonesty was pointed out was not helping their argument.

I suspect there are some mental health issues that underline their supreme belief in their superiority of thought which is never fulfilled in reality. They have little argument that is clear and concise, it always seems to be obfuscated behind impenetrable language and mockery.

Anyway, the Staniland question is very good in that it shows who immediately fall back on ‘the situation should be fixed by removing all communal change room’ or who fall back on sexually harassing Helen by calling her name associated with male genitalia and other acts that constitute sexual harassment. It really doesn’t allow someone to avoid answering without being noted by the audience so that person then loses credibility.

Just as Lavery did.
