More than one “woman” a week prosecuted for rape?!?!

I just saw this on Twitter

twitter.com/profalices/status/1442415750497509380?s=21

Between 2012 and 2018, 436 individuals prosecuted for rape in England and Wales were recorded as women.
www.parliament.scot/chamber-and-committees/committees/current-and-previous-committees/session-6-citizen-participation-and-public-petitions-committee/correspondence/2021/pe1876_h-professor-alice-sullivan-submission-of-27-august-2021

I’m shocked at this statistic. Yes, a small proportion of these may be women charged with rape by joint enterprise. Prof Sullivan posted on Twitter she has requested to separate out those cases. But, as under the law in England and Wales, rape is a crime committed with a penis….. so these (alleged) rapists are “bodies with penises” being recorded as women in crime stats. So transwomen, right? So what does this mean….436 (alleged) transwomen rapists in 6 years? That is more than one a week. In England & Wales.

Have I misunderstood that? I’m really shocked.

apologies, i've not read through the thread but this is about a case where a school in the US moved a pupil to another school after he raped another student in the school toilets while dressed as a girl. He's subsequently been convicted for the rape and another incident at the new school.

@ArabellaScott

I am testing something with a clap ...

For those who haven’t watched the video.

An underaged girl was raped in the girls toilets - by a boy wearing a skirt.

The school tried to hush it up and only told the parents that she had been assaulted (not that she had been raped). The school tried to avoid calling the police and told the girl “they would handle it”.

When the dad found out, he got cross and the school then called the police on him. That is how the police found out and administered a rape kit on the poor girl.

A few weeks later, the school board had a meeting about allowing trans students into the gendered bathroom. The dad showed up as he had (understandable) concerns.

He was dragged out and handcuffed and ended up on newspapers all over the world as a blue collar thug.

The school board (?) spoke to the MoJ and somehow a letter was written suggesting that people like the dad were domestic terrorist and should be dealt with by the FBI.

The boy/person then sexually assaults a second girl and someone calls the dad and asks if this is the same perpetrator.

The dad finally speaks out.

It is discovered that the school has neglected to keep any records about any sexual assaults and that the board knew about that - and about the latest assault- and lied about it.

Finally, (former) president Obama campaigns and states that the parents (who now are very angry) are involved in some cultural battle and doesn’t focus on the right things.

Forgot to add, the girl is now slut shamed as well.

She “used to snuck away and see a boy in the toilets”. Guess if you are not a virgin, it isn’t rape?

God. How many people are in complicit in this? It must run to dozens.

There seems to be some kind of collective insanity when it comes to transgenderism.

andyoldlabour · 28/10/2021 15:46

That video revealed the whole, terrible chain of events. The poor girl involved, the despicable way her father was treated, the attempted cover up by the school, Obama basically saying it never happened (just like the WiSpa incident).
The Democrats are basicall the US version of our current Labour party.
Sad times.

The school tried to avoid calling the police and told the girl“ they would handle it”.

According to the 'blocked and reported' episode on this, that isn't quite true. There is a police presence in the school and that is what they meant by dealing with it internally.

However, it certainly seems that whatever policies the school/school board had, they failed to protect either the first or the second victim or acknowledge the seriousness of what had happened.

BatmansBat · 28/10/2021 16:01

Sorry Merry, I took part of the info from the DM article. I didn’t know about the police presence in school.

Thanks Oldcrone. I did have a quick look but was finishing up a late lunch before a meeting at 2.15 and I knew I'd have forgotten by the time I finished work.

timeisnotaline · 28/10/2021 22:05

I think a bit in the daily Mail and thread is wrong so read with a grain of salt as others have mentioned

BatmansBat · 28/10/2021 22:23

outline.com/stat1k/AqtgHW.html

This is another news source about the case. Quite similar to the outline I put out.

www.dailywire.com/news/records-suggest-loudoun-sent-team-of-police-to-deal-with-upset-parent-not-alleged-rape-of-student

Above is an article suggesting that police was called to deal with the parent, not the rape. I know that the daily wire is a right wing publication but they were the ones that broke the story.

I find this horrific and am keen to understand exactly what happened. If anyone has any links contradicting this, I would be very happy to read them.

ElephantOfRisk · 28/10/2021 22:57

I picked up this article from the other thread:

outline.com/AqtgHW

and I watched the video of the arrest of the father and the police seemed to be dealing with another parent initially.

ElephantOfRisk · 28/10/2021 22:57

sorry just seen it seems to be the same link as PP.

OnlyTheTitosaurusOfTheIceberg · 28/10/2021 23:16

I haven’t read the whole thread because of the tedious sealioning going on, but as ex-CJS I can state a few facts:

  1. Basic case and defendant data is entered by the police and transferred electronically to the CPS.

  2. All CPS areas use the same case monitoring & tracking software and have done since 2005, so this is not an issue of incompatible legacy systems causing errors.

  3. Relevant characteristics are monitored up the wazoo (to the point there are persistent grumbling at all grades of staff about the time taken up by monitoring pulling focus from the core business of prosecuting) and a monthly return of KPIs is made to the central HQ team. A 3% data entry error rate on any single fundamental characteristic would be picked up and fed back to the police to correct.

If CPS HQ wanted to accurately record and report on the sex of defendants, they could do so. For them to be unable to do so is a choice, not a mistake.
