She's not going to the conference. She doesn't want to be the news story when it is Starmer's first conference.
She doesn't want to subject herself to the online abuse.
She has regular meetings with the police. She doesn't know how this has got out there, because she has only told a couple of people. She had a serious personal security breach at a previous conference. Only told a few people, but somehow the Mail on Sunday got hold of it, and then the false narrative became that she is making herself the victim.
Kier Starmer supportive? Diplomatic answer, but I'm taking that as a no.
RE-tweet of "cosplay" tweet. She says she re-tweeted it because gay rights activists/friends find the "Q" word offensive and the appropriation of gay culture by straight people offensive.
Not clear to her what Labour's policy is. 2017/19 manifestos pledged to uphold the EqA separate women's only space. But not confident that pledge will be upheld in the next manifesto - not been told of a change of policy, but because there is no discussion allowed, she cannot know that is the case.
Was a good solid interview. Justin Webb being challenging but not treating her like a scum bag before she's even spoken (Women's Hour take note).
