Well considering Diva lauded a ‘lesbian’ who advocates for the harm of women by way of extreme porn and dismisses murder as being the fault of female ‘eggshell’ skulls, I cannot see how Riley holds their head up anyway.

This blows my mind. She's mad at a gay man saying that lesbians are same sex attracted, but at the same time supports straight men identifying as lesbians as being perfectly acceptable.

I honestly don't know if she truly can't see what's happening or if she is backed into a corner due to allegiances with Stonewall etc.

There's money in it. Diva's never been a magazine that's focussed on the reality of UK lesbian life. It's essentially a cynical advertising product that was designed to sell to aspirational third-wave lipstick lesbians in the 90s. I used to know someone who wrote for them: they paid peanuts if they paid at all. Loads of aspiring writers and journalists were prepared to let their stuff be published for free. The editorial content was used as a hook to hang page after page of advertising. No different from other women's mags, but very different from the feminist lesbians magazines of yore.

Linda Riley is a businesswoman who sees lesbians and transwomen as a lucrative market. There's a special circle in hell reserved for women like her who've cynically exploited and sold women down the river.

It's interesting to me that TRAs so often like to bingo card that lesbians can be abusers.

Well, the point is she doesn't want it to be a niche mag. She wants it to be a glossy like Cosmo etc. so she's trying to broaden the focus beyond all sense. I mean, tbh, trying to keep a print magazine afloat in this day and age seems like an odd basket to pile your eggs in, but it's definitely about money for Aunt Linda.

Given that the bloke's preferred pronouns on twitter seem to be "justified genders of woo woo", hasn't she made a big assumption identifying him as a "cis man"?
