The dildo monkey is standing next to the desk in the library before they raced out of the doors, so according to Redbridge Libraries NO-ONE saw that costume? What they mean is they did indeed see the costume but thought it was perfectly acceptable, funny even, progressive, inclusive, yada, yada and then when the complaints hit tipping point they started plastic bare arse covering.

This will not end well. Offensive stunts like this that undermine safeguarding are just the excuse that certain religious groups in the area will use to challenge the council (and by default schools) about openly celebrating queer theory and exposing children to dodgy adults.
