Her latest appeal against suspension seems to have succeeded. Good.

Wow. The tide is really turning. Great news.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 21/06/2021 12:02

She says her most recent appeals mentioned the Maya judgement.

Wow.

Helleofabore · 21/06/2021 12:08

She said this was in her email.

After further review, we have unsuspended your account as it does not appear to be in violation of the Twitter Rules.

So... maybe they have changed the rules now that Maya's ruling has gone through.

Or ... maybe they realise that this was targeted harassment by a very prominent and vocal group who were also indulging in sexual harassment of Helen at the same time (which they did not address at all).

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 21/06/2021 12:18

Yup.

Law, innit.

teawamutu · 21/06/2021 12:36

Awesome!

teawamutu · 21/06/2021 12:36

Wonder if this means @Glinner has a chance at reinstatement?

Purpletomato · 21/06/2021 12:36

Excellent

SpindleWhorl · 21/06/2021 12:37

Good.

highame · 21/06/2021 12:41

One of the select committees questioned Glinner and Helen about their ban from Twitter, so all in all, a change was due. Hopefully Glinner can be re-instated though he's not know for holding back Grin

highame · 21/06/2021 12:42

Fabulous how wide ranging Maya's case has been, even though it isn't ground breaking in the real sense of the word, it has certainly thrown a massive spotlight on things

EmbarrassingAdmissions · 21/06/2021 12:42

That's amazing news because even recently she was being told it wouldn't be reconsidered and that she was (effectively) to stop contacting them.

SimonedeBeauvoirscat · 21/06/2021 12:58

Yet more evidence that MN’s decision to hive FWR off into a separate ghetto is stunningly badly timed. The tide is turning.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 21/06/2021 13:03

Oh that's fantastic! Love Helen.

Brilliant news.

oldwomanwhoruns · 21/06/2021 14:05

Hurrah for Helen Flowers
Keep asking that question.

Mollyollydolly · 21/06/2021 14:18

Excellent news.

Lisz · 21/06/2021 14:27

Glinner’s warning for harassment from the British police will go against him. I’m surprised his accusations that a respected American educator was ‘groomy’ never ended up getting him in legal grief.

He used to be focused but he’s all over the place these days. His audience has dwindled to virtually nothing too; YouTube views are so low, the needle barely shifting in the near-year that he’s been at it. Seems lucky to get 5 thousand viewers a week.

bellinisurge · 21/06/2021 14:30

Not sure MN can read the room . Welcome back, Helen.

Interesting, as his subscribers went up by over 1000 after the Aimee Challoner stuff came out. I would think that would be a ‘needle shift’.

And yes, it is surprising that the ‘respected American educator’ (arf) didn’t get him into legal grief, maybe they didn’t want to go into court and all the attention that would cause…..

JoodyBlue · 21/06/2021 15:24

Yay Helen :) I think it might be a mixed blessing having the door opened again into the twitter cesspool, but I so respect your tenacity, and thank you on behalf of all women and girls.

altforvarmt · 21/06/2021 16:39

So good to see. Now for the rest of the feminists who were disappeared...

Well you're obviously not a fan but most of Mess We're Shows get on average about 7 or 8k some up to 12k. He numbers go up every day,

He has Jess de Wahls on right now. Nearly 600 watching live.

I mean, I hope you're not expecting him to pull in Father Ted or IT Crowd viewing figures because that's a bit unrealistic.
