I was so excited to see real ribbons on a real tree in Brighton as I was visiting today. Whoever put them there - thank you. You have cheered me immensely, and made me feel less alone.

I’ve heard from the Ministry of Tartan - suffragette tartan wraps back are in production and will be back in stock ‘early September ish’. I suggested that they may be rather popular. (Didn’t say that need a public warning on the label)

Ironically one of the school mums runs a printing company - the sort that make the hen night sashes and what-not, and a couple of years ago during the anniversary of women's suffrage - they were doing fucking miles and miles of printed suffragette sashes, and now this is some kind of crime.

I've always loved the word haberdashery by the way.

Kirkcaldy Police were eviscerated by the general public for investigating a 'women won't wheesht' sticker stuck to a lamppost as a hate crime.

This makes me so angry.
For our young girls sexual harassment is relentless in schools.
Rape is effectively legal.
And the police have time to investigate a sticker stating a biological fact.
