I'm sure the RA would love for this to just disappear, so I'm glad that this outrage continues to be covered.

I wish journalists would spell out in big letters the hypocrisy about some of the other artists' views/behaviour.

So they should apologise for their targeting of Jess de Wahls, at the behest of harassing, misogynistic bigots. Pathetic and discriminatory, punching down at women. They thought it would be easier.

Won't spend a bob there anyway. Changed from the sugar soaked Innocent drinks a while back and adjusted to lovely chilled (sometimes sparkling) water, with a hunt of orange, lemon, cucumber or mint. Better for it. We could buy from Jess de Wahls directly and not put any cash in the Royal Academy, as they evidently think it is ok to dismiss women and our concerns.

Can’t believe RA still haven’t issued a grovelling apology. What is taking so long??

Hmmm. Given that Jess received a message to say that complaints were being investigated a while before the announcement , perhaps the management were involved in an actual decision, rather than the bookshop / Tweet team making up a quick response.
