I have read about a woman who squeezed of her rapists testicles until it ruptured. That wouldn’t be repairable surgically and doesn’t require a knife, though you’d have to grip hard as the tunica that contains the soft tissue is tough.

I think perhaps women should be taught this type of self-defence manoeuvre. I am fortunate to have never needed it, and had always assumed the man would secure your hands, but obviously in this case, he didn’t.

Good.
Personally I would like to see all rapists castrated surgically 😡

Interesting.

Perhaps if more men knew that women and girls were taught this skill then they'd be a bit more careful about getting their penis out uninvited and forcing it into our vicinity.

@Waveafterwaveslowlydrifting

Did they sew it back on?

Should have burned it

Maybe because I'd only just woken up, I misread that first line as-

"They drew it back on?" Shock

Probably the safest option really.

Nah, they’d just make sure our hands didn’t work before they raped us.

Well he is unlikely to be raping anyone else.

Thelnebriati · 02/06/2021 09:11

Spanish law says that self defense has to be justified (you did nothing to provoke the attack and you're in immediate danger), and proportional to the level of aggression. So she will probably be prosecuted.

Personally, I use hand springs to strengthen my grip.

UhtredRagnarson · 02/06/2021 09:21

No you see, having read that I think this meets all the criteria.

Did nothing to provoke the attack: she’s hardly likely to have invited rape?

In immediate danger: yes, immediate danger of being raped, proven by the fact his penis was close enough to get that she was able to cut it.

Proportional to the level of aggression: well she was being attacked with a penis so the proportionate response would be to disarm the penis so it could be used to attack her. Just like if he attacked her with a knife, she would try and get rid of the knife and no one would think that was disproportionate. Also, this wasn’t the first time he assaulted her so previous things she did to defend herself didn’t work and she knew this.

jellybeansforbreakfast · 02/06/2021 10:07

Depends on if they believe the sex was not consensual!

Logic could go like this:
She says he had raped her before

  • why was she still working there?
  • why did she not leave?
  • why did she not tell someone earlier?

So it cannot have been rape or sexal assault, because she could have remived herself frm the situation.

Guilty of assault, 6 years! Poor man is to be supported for loss/partial loss of his manhood!

MRAs and Incels the world over learn her name and use it to prove women are just so fucking evil and violent.

Fucks sake!

Thelnebriati · 02/06/2021 10:27

I've got a feeling Jelly just described how the trial will go.

MedusasBadHairDay · 02/06/2021 10:30

Yeah, depressingly I think that's it exactly.

MissScotland101 · 02/06/2021 10:31

All I can say is Lorena Bobbit!!!

UhtredRagnarson · 02/06/2021 10:51

Oh yes I can totally see that that’s how it will go @jellybeansforbreakfast. Depressingly.

talkingdeadscot · 02/06/2021 10:55

They'll make an example of her to ensure women are even more scared of defending themselves. That's how the system works.

Nodal · 02/06/2021 10:55

She should claim it was consensual sex involving "knife play" and he asked her to cut him but she tripped as an inopportune moment and cut it off by mistake. She could also say it was "trans play" and he has a fetish about having sex like a woman. Sex game gone wrong innit - has worked for countless men in the legal systems of many different countries. There are countless porn clips involving knives and AGPs.

UhtredRagnarson · 02/06/2021 10:59

Sadly she can’t claim it was a sex game as she has already reported it was self defence against a sexual a assault.

DdraigGoch · 02/06/2021 11:05

Seems a bit of a waste of expensive operating theatres to me.

I'll do it, I've got a rusty saw in the shed...

AlmostSummer21 · 02/06/2021 11:07

Shame she didn't shove it down his throat

DdraigGoch · 02/06/2021 11:38

So she will probably be prosecuted persecuted.

Fixed that for you.

DolphinFC · 02/06/2021 16:30

Was Bobbett ever convicted of rape?

AssassinatedBeauty · 02/06/2021 17:23

No he wasn't convicted of raping Lorena. He was later convicted of assaulting his subsequent wife, and of theft. In Lorena's trial it was accepted by both the prosecution and the defence that she was in fear of Bobbit and he had been assaulting her physically and sexually for years. That was the accepted reason for her self defence and temporary insanity defence which led to her acquittal.

Neotraditional · 02/06/2021 17:29

@UhtredRagnarson

The victim was rushed to hospital for operation to attempt to reattach his penis

The victim didn’t have a penis. The assailant had a penis, which he was separated from when his victim disarmed him.

Sorry shouldn’t laugh but this is hysterical! When she disarmed him 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Completely agree she should be applauded for saving other women from an ‘alleged’ racist. If what she says is true I hope they don’t manage to reattach it.
