But what was heartening was to see women posting comments about just how insulting this was. And someone posted "Now I live in Brighton and this is how younger Left-leaning feminist-identifying women speak to each other."

I am getting seriously worried as to why we are bothering with education if this is the level of thought process among young people, particularly women. And those going into to debt to get a university education are somehow so stimilated by their encounter with academia that they start talking like this!

I imagine any feminists turning up in T-shirts with slogans implying that they know what a woman is / don’t centre men would be in deep shit. Which is quite sufficient reason to stay away.

I used to have dealings with the SWP, they were a bunch of misogynists who jumped on every band wagon to ultimately push their own Marxist agenda. They actually do a massive disservice and trade unions have an over representation of them because it gives them a voice. My favourite was a petition about support for striking staff in a local government authority. I worked for another local authority and was an active trade unionist. I apparently got a lot of signatures becuse I was pretty according to a comrade who was on the same trade union branch committee as me.

People get abused for being transphobic for started a post with "ladies" in endometriosis sub-reddits, and this facebook ad goes out of its way to be exclusionary of non-binary socialists when there is no need. This sets out to excludes people who are non-binary.

If the police (and yes, there are issues with the police) aren't destroyed, who are they proposing will protect women instead? I feel that destroying without having a suitable replacement is an extremely poor idea
