It's just so embarrassing. Joanna Cherry is a brain on legs, I don't agree with many of her politics, but, the woman is a powerhouse and I'd be happy with her in government because I'd feel like women were safe.

Compare with Kirsty Blackman, another SNP MP who appears to be, well, not as blessed with the same towering intellect as Ms Cherry.

Why have we got one lauded and influencing everything, and, the other needing some time out? It says something worrying about our society.

No matter what the Scottish MNetters views are on Independence V Unification, it has been made obvious to everyone in the UK that the SNP are no longer a party about Independence: they, like the Greens, have given way to their stated remit (Independence/ the Environment) in favour of a new religion.
