Today I drove past a woman wearing a ‘Woman: adult human female’ tshirt

I wanted to pull over, get out of the car and give her a massive, Covid rule-breaking hug. Honestly, it made my day. There she was, just strolling up the road in the sunshine, in her T-shirt. And I felt for a second like maybe the world isn’t completely going mad.

My friend of 20 odd years recently dumped me for being gender critical and I’ve been hurting. So that little gesture of female solidarity was very welcome today.

I'm sorry, I genuinely do not understand what this post is about. Please can someone explain, why women feel the need to wear a t shirt explaining what a woman is? What else would a woman be?

I so wish I was brave enough to wear one of those, or even carry the bag. But living in a particularly woke area of a very woke city I’m not sure it would be safe. I couldn’t even let my husband see it as we’ve fallen out over this before. Ugh.

Most likely not, but really so much of this is simply out of touch, when the majority of women don't see this sort of gatekeeping of the patriarchal gender structure as making any sense.

I want freedom, not defined boundaries and fear limiting my ability to live my life to its fullest, and not locked in.

I'd love to too but afraid it would land me in a confrontation.
I will go a long way to avoid confrontation, yet (or because?) as a child I had no problem speaking up for truth and fairness.
