Worse part about this is how the Cream City and Drag Queen Story hour and his LinkedIn have been scrubbed of any association with Blomme...I find that problematic.

The news source you cite is quite biased, yet Bret Blomme's connection with Drag Queen Story hour in Milwaukee seems to have been left unconnected from some mainstream news sources, however, his arrest and association with Cream City is noted in this news source (less biased media):

'DQSH Milwaukee has never been run by the Cream City Foundation nor Brett Blomme, neither have either participated in planning, organinizng, hosting or performing at any of our events. Brett has never held a title or position within our organization ever.
Cream City Foundation has only ever been a fiscal sponsor that allows DQSH Milwaukee to give & recieve funds as a non-profit. Asides from financials, they have had no part in DQSH Milwaukee & DQSH HQ.
As the leaders of DQSH Milwaukee & DQSH HQl we absolutely condemn pedophilia, We are angry and outraged by Brett's actions.
Pedophilia has no place in the LGBT community and no place in society as a whole.

He was a circuit judge and though found with 75 images of child sex abuse he goes home to his husband and two adopted children. I hope the husband kicks him out.

If you Google the name you'll get plenty of local media news links.

So disturbing he pushed to work on court cases involving children-just another example of the extremes predatory men will go to to get access. I hope to god their children are safe.

Which is interesting as, as far as I can remember, the main thrust of the thread is that drag is not suitable for children, and questioning the motives of those who felt it was. I find it strange that MNHQ felt that a discussion that was essentially about safeguarding breached the guidelines.

I'm not sure what killed the earlier thread ItsAllGoingToBeFine but it did have slurs that posters were saying that all drag performers were like the individual mentioned in this thread. They weren't saying that but, well, you know how it goes.

I was baffled at that message from MNHQ, I went back and read the OP of that thread and all it essentially said was “how surprising.”

If that’s an off limits remark I don’t know how it’s possible to discuss this.
