Very concise. She's such a great speaker and very balanced. Pro trans while still advocacting for sex based rights - because sex and gender are different and require different approaches while respecting our different needs.

Senator Cindy is getting trolled because of this speech. Twitter army calling it 'hateful', 'cruelty', 'bigotry', 'reverse racism' and on an on.

In the speech she talks about the data showing top female athletes being outperformed by Tier 2 males and the 900% increase in girls in sport with i9 that will be harmed by the 'equality act' proposals.

Also, please note that Ted Cruz is a big douche and despite his pandering to girls' sports in his questions, he doesn't care about women's rights. Same goes for Cindy Hyde-Smith, who is also such a racist she jokes about lynching. Hyde-Smith does not deserve our praise, but Schrier is TRULY brave to stake her reputation on speaking out...I'm so frustrated that she's a rarity in US investigative journalism.

Don't feel bad for Hyde-Smith...she has a long and illustrious reputation for being an unapologetic racist.

It's worth going to the end to watch Senator Dick Durbin (Democrat) wrap up the hearing. It's an exercise of mendacity using many of the tricks we've seen before. It's enraging but instructive.

He starts at 3:15:30. The highlight of the hearing for him was evidence given by a transgirl starting at 1:19:59.

I think they are more on board with the LGBT+ agenda and everything that it entails--still pretty much at the 'anyone who objects is hateful and transphobic' stage.

When Abigail was a guest on Triggernometry, she was asked why she gets so much flak for the book and said 'it's because i'm right'.

That's stayed with me.

She's right| fighting for the freedom of gender non conforming girls to be themselves. fighting for girls and women to play sports and not be locked up with rapists.

I've just finished her book and was struck by how much compassion she expresses for her subjects, both the young women identifying as trans and their parents.

South Carolina is a very conservative and religious state, so even their Dems will lean more conservative, compared to many other states.

Abigail Shrier is extraordinary. I was almost in tears watching her testimony.

That poor woman in the Washington Correctional Facility who was raped. Everyone knew it would happen and they proceeded regardless. They had a duty to protect her and refused knowing the full consequences. Cowards. Bastards.
