My husband has just said that he will not be voting green again (voted green for the last 20 years). It used to be a vote to show how much he valued the environment and risks of global warming, but now it seems to be a vote for supporting the removal of women's rights

It almost feels like I am making this up, I still can't believe this is the party I've given 6 years of my life to. I witnessed appalling behaviour by the most senior people in the party, many of whom I'd admired for years (apart from Jenny Jones, who was magnificent). The dawning of this reality was quite crushing, but sobering too. What’s worse is the fact that many of our senior figures profess to hold the high moral ground on many issues, but in fact, they are as bad, if not worse, than our political foes.

Part of the reason the self ID and gender idealogy issues are so frightening is how they want to introduce everything via stealth. Any efforts to shine a light on this are met with threats, misogyny or accusations of transphobia.

The Green Party are not recognisable at all any more. The Covid pandmic was an ideal time to think about introducing in more sustainable development, transport methods etc. They've lost their way.

The time for a new environmental party is coming I think, one that prioritises science and reality. Maybe as more people become aware of whats going on with the trans issue.

When I found the newspaper article, starring the four green muppets, I thought it was made up. Then I found the link to the Youtube vid and my jaw dropped. How could any sane person vote for people who think like that?
The problem with losing good people like Dom, is that we are losing people from politics who represent common sense, who represent the majority of people in the UK.
