It's important to have debate on these issues but I don't think describing nationalists as 'crazed' is really helpful, is it?

I'm not apologising for that- the separatist movement strikes me as every bit as crazed as anything trans activists come up with.

I am not "saying they are the wrong kind of women" - don't make things up.

The SNP's position on trans issues seems to be crazed, deranged , unacceptable- what does that tell you about the SNP?

Some of the strongest opposition to the erasure of women's rights is also coming from the SNP.

What does that tell us? Tells is it's a broad church, a single issue party is going to have lots of different people involved. This gender mania has gripped virtually every other organisation, it's far from unique to the SNP.

Everyone I know has no issue with ensuring that trans people are protected and rightly so.

But people do not know the extent of the issue. DP said he’d just have to put on a dress snd declare himself a woman: couldn’t believe he could remain his bearded, corduroy wearing self and, should he declare himself to be a woman, that’s it.

Also the lesbians must not say no to penises, etc. But most people genuinely don’t know.

Yes, that’s what I told him. He is now equally horrified. He’s an independence supporting, laid back, live and let live, bloke, so had no idea of what’s afoot. The forensic examination stuff shocked him too.

Wouldn't it be great to hear Nicola discuss these issues without recourse to the term "transphobia", so she'd have to break things down into what she's REALLY saying? Give us the precise statements we're not allowed to disagree with, and the precise statements you're labelling as "phobic". Make a video saying "I don't condone women having spaces (and mention sports, awards, prisons and crisis centres) in which they can decline access to biological males". Make a video saying this, and then see how fluffy and kind it sounds.

None of us condones transphobia under any meaningful, reasonable definition of it.
