It was a bunfight sometime between 2008 and 2010, about Rastamouse, a CBeebies programme. A variety of views were robustly expressed! For a little while it (IIRC) was a by-word for MN craziness.

I loved that routine, I'll be keeping an eye out for her. Tbh I'm just happy to see a comedian i know won't lazily slam women/jkr/feminists etc, even if she never mentions the smurf thing again. Tbf comedians should be ripping into the authoritarian, almost sci-fi dystopian world the TRA types want. "Cervix owner" should be laughed out the park. Such a shame so many are too scared, or have their careers ruined if they step out of line.

She was great years ago at the Fringe, where she took the piss out of porno mags. Got her burly husband on stage to copy the stupid poses - finger in mouth, vacant smile, chest stuck out, etc. Seeing a man do them really flagged up the misogyny.
I’m delighted she’s on team terf, I would expect no less. And I think she’s tough enough to handle the inevitable flak from the TRAs.

Love the Irishness to her humour, the way she says things and you don't really know if that's her opinion or dark humour.
