Prompted by a terrible and embarrassingly biased article by Thompson Reuters Foundation about how those awful radical feminists like Keira Bell are using crowd funding websites to do horrible mean things like protect women and children (there is a thread you can read should you desire), I thought/hoped some of you might be up for a bit of last minute seasonal digging to support Ann.

Please google her name and "judicial review" to find the page if you dont know it. Direct links to it here will result in the thread being removed.

Merry Christmas to all those women out there standing up for us. I for one appreciate it more than my financial clout can show

Me too. Although actually I repurposed all the funds that were going to charities that have recently proved themselves to be unfit. For instance I cancelled my direct debit to the NSPCC after the rubberman debacle and their attempts to defend him revealed their utter lack of care for safeguarding and the primacy of men’s sexual wants in their organisation.

UppityPuppity · 16/12/2020 17:48

Bump.

£6560 to go to £75000.

Apollo440 · 16/12/2020 17:53

Please help if you can. This is a very important case. It will help rollback 'Stonewall' law.

Sexnotgender · 16/12/2020 18:04

I’ll go dig shortly...

Rocococo · 16/12/2020 18:22

Done. We'll get there

Clymene · 16/12/2020 18:43

Done - we'll get there

WhatWozZat · 16/12/2020 19:17

Done. Such an important case.

ValancyRedfern · 16/12/2020 19:22

Done

SarahBeenysBikerJacket · 16/12/2020 19:26

Done. I love PPs idea of having a separate allocation in the personal budget for protecting women's rights!

I do. I used to give monthly to several charities but as they have fallen to the cult I have cancelled my donations and redirected these funds to legal challenges like this.

My cancelled NSPCC and AMNESTY DDs now go into a pot for crowdfunding.
SarahBeenysBikerJacket · 16/12/2020 19:36

Hmm I've cancelled Liberty but that was only £2 a month. I'm going to go through the accounts and have a rejig.

drsambeckett · 16/12/2020 19:36

Done. Such an important case. Thanks for the reminder.

McDuffy · 16/12/2020 20:36

That was me and my excessive granularity in my personal finances Grin
Just wondering (as I have no legal background or knowledge) if costs are awarded to the people we supported in a crowdfunder, what happens to that money?

MerchedCymru · 16/12/2020 21:14

Just bumping.

This is vitally important for all of us. The EHRC's determination to give incorrect guidance - even when called out on it - has led to a myriad of cases where single-sex provision for women and girls has been dismantled and women who complained have been castigated as bigots. Rape crisis centres, changing rooms, sports, school toilets. hospital wards, homeless shelters.

The EHRC are culpable and complicit. Anne's case aims to oblige them to uphold the law. Please dig if you can.

TheTrickyWitch · 16/12/2020 21:19

Done 👍

McDuffy · 16/12/2020 21:28

It's inching up!

PrawnofthePatriarchy · 16/12/2020 21:31

Warm thanks for the reminder. Due to poor health I've only got a little trowel but I can still do a bit of digging.

Happy Christmas, sisters.

EmpressWitchDoesntBurn · 16/12/2020 21:41

£5,000 to go! Getting my spade out.

LeftHandDown · 16/12/2020 23:29

Done ♀️only wish I could afford to move the decimal point to the right. This is one we really need to win.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 16/12/2020 23:35

Monty seems to be literally taking anything anything gc says and turning it straight around - just like that annoying kid in the playground...

Not the only TRA to adopt this tactic, it's a common one.

FinallyHere · 17/12/2020 00:29

Entirely sympathetic to this cause.

Just can't find a link to donate. Feeling a tad stoopid would be glad if anyone can help me find it.

Ann Sinnott Crowdfunder brings up only old stores. It an active crowd funder. What am I missing?

Getting there - £4650 to go. Have had a little shovel. Will check out the growth tomorrow and maybe get the trowel out.
