The police should not record us as hateful in secret

Dear all

At 2pm Tomorrow I will be launching something which I understand it is against the terms and conditions of this site to mention but i hope you will check out my Twitter page for more information - @SVPhillimore.

I know its a difficult time of the year to ask people to do more gardening but if you don't feel like actually hefting a spade I would be really grateful if you could amplify my information.

I seriously think we are currently facing the most significant threat to our fundamental civil liberties in my life time. My lawyers have written today to Wiltshire and the College of Policing to give them until November 20th to delete the recording made about me that I am 'hateful' and to withdraw the hate crimes guidance. If they won't - we go to court.

In PC Gul's defence I have to point out that he denied very strongly saying this and the court made no findings about it.

Harry is adamant that he did and points out the relevant phone call was over 30 minutes. So PC Gul was saying something alright...

So what is happening with your own case Spero? I didn't really understand about the digging in the wrong place, but I realise it was probably cryptic on purpose.

The police response seemed like a bit of bluster.

Police officers in North Staffordshire are investigating comments made on social media.

Officers were spotted in Moorland Road, Biddulph, shortly before 9.40am today (December 3).

They were later seen in the same road shortly after 1.20pm.

Staffordshire Police has now confirmed it came after a row over a social media comment yesterday (December 2).

A spokesman said: "We followed up on a report of a slanderous comment made on social media.

"We found no crime was committed. Advice has been given." www.stokesentinel.co.uk/news/stoke-on-trent-news/police-investigating-social-media-comments-4761735?utm_source=taboola&utm_medium=display&utm_campaign=exchange

And I always thought slander was a civil matter...

sorry for being overly cryptic. In plain English, Wiltshire have told me I can't JR them while they are carrying out an internal investigation so we have asked them for some dates for that to be finished and we can decide what to do then.

CoP have refused to withdraw the guidance and sent a lot waffly letter which didn't seem to engage with any of the data protection issues we raise. So my team have said -let's issue!

My deadline is 20th Jan. So the plan is to issue next year at the same time as Miss B on the basis that our cases are similar enough to be linked together and that will mean getting permission is easier.

I have been asked to start putting my statement together and I have started that tonight!
