Interesting to see the contributions from Comic Relief and Children in Need. I for one when donating via hot line was not aware that funding was going to Mermaids. I am not sure how to feel about it. There is a sense of bad faith however, given the damage I think this ideology does to the young.

Isn't ''dark money'' a US political term? What party are we supposed to be funding? None of them support women's rights, not even WEP.

Well this 'sad individual' has donated some of my 'dark' money thanks to her. I had been putting off donating, but the Twitter post spurred me on.

Well having seen this, my usual donations to Children in Need and Comic Relief will go instead to FPFW. Grass roots women's groups have been so effective.

She thinks we're 'seething'. I'm not sure how you can read derision and amused mockery that way, but then mimsy thinks all sorts of things are actually other things entirely.

I mean, I know quite a lot of feminists who are good a wide range of things, but I'm not sure darning is particularly a gender critical campaign.

I can't help but see her as a ridiculous panto character. She honestly thinks the various women's campaigning groups like FPFW are one woman outfits and a bot army funded by some shadowy US cabal.

I suspect her overheated imagination and disconnect with reality is a result of spending all her life on Twitter, getting head pats from all the creeps who enjoy the anime porn on there when they're not salivating over threats to Jo Rowling, because the real world consequences of mimsy's 'work' are a whole load of kids, including her own, deeply wounded by her sexist, close minded foolishness and need for personal celebrity.

She almost has no option but to throw herself into her rich fantasy world. I would feel sorry for her if I were a better person. But I'm really not, so I'm honestly just laughing at her ridiculous clowning.

I feel sad for her, she spends a huge amount of her time online being extremely angry. I wonder if she just stopped for a while, she may realise that we have a point. The complete denial of concerns and never ending hateful messages suggest that she may have some personal problems. I used to follow her on Twitter but had to stop reading her posts as they were so extreme and made me feel uneasy. I wish her some happiness and peace at some point in her life.

Fair Play for Women are my go to source of science based info. I use their links all the time on social media and to family and friends.
Having done all this work voluntary over the last few years, whilst still in her job I totally get why a paid role is necessary. Dr Nic is a fantastic representative of women and girls and I'm now off to make another donation.
