Do any of you dress etc 'gender free' or have tried to in the past?

I'm going a bit more 'gender free' in my look. Did try it once years ago for a couple of years. Have any of you tried it/done it?

I know a lot of women have quite a 'gender free' look anyway.

I don't wear skirts or dresses as I think they're impractical and a bit silly, but I absolutely support any women's right to dress however they want. Same with men in kilts or who want to wear skirts. I'd rather that than men pretending to be women. I don't do all the nail nonsense, as I think it's ridiculous and a huge waste of money. But, again, if people want to waste money on it, up to them (though yes, annoying the number of women I see complaining about having no money after spending £100s and £100s on extensions, fake lashes and nail treatments that need topping up every couple of weeks).

I don't approve of rigid gender stereotypes and I think that's how we got into this mess with all the ridiculous AGP middle aged men thinking wearing regressive 70s outfits with heels and fishnets that no actual woman would wear makes them a woman. So I think actively doing it the other way round is probably just as bad. Let people dress how they feel comfortable I say (even though I effectively do do this as I wear hoodies and trousers every day and hate skirts).

I'm not blessed with much in the way of visual skill - cannot paint or draw or redesign a house interior - so for me, clothes are an outlet for creativity and self expression, and I adore them. I make as many of them as I can too, which doesn't come easily but is immensely satisfying. I don't paint my nails or wear much make up but I can imagine how that could feel creatively satisfying too.

I get so tired of the casually judgemental attitudes - always denied when challenged - on threads like this.

I wear whatever I like, sometimes trad womens clothes sometimes not.

The whole point of gender free/ gender critical is that it doesn't matter at all!
