This is a "wondering out loud" kind of post, and not specific to any thread or user, but how long before admin decides that ignoring merailers / derailers is NITS, and we have to play nice and include everyone in the conversation, no matter how tiresome, targeted and plain wrong they are??

Evening all. I have finished work for the day, so it’s G&T time.

Things keep vanishing (without even leaving so much as a residual smile), but it’s very pleasant here by the fire pit. I am quite sure there are some rules that I don’t understand, but hoping not to do anything that will get me barred.

I don't think it would be possible to police threads in such a way.

If you simply never reply directly to such people, quote them or @ them, then hopefully they'll get bored quicker than the would otherwise and leave.

It's tough because personally I have laughed like a drain at some of the fantastic responses from clever and witty women on these boards.

I tried to buy blinis at the weekend. Tesco don't seem to stock them anymore. At all, not just my local shop. Will have to go further afield to Sainsbury's, I think....

I make sourdough blinis. They are bloody fantastic.

I love a blini (or five) with soured cream, dill, onion and smoked salmon.
I use a recipe by Nigella Lawson which uses dried yeast.

I don't always remember to post it. I think I remember mostly when I'm saying something caustic or pushing it a little bit. Just a little calling card that transbadger is here and can't be arsed with anyone who's bum's out the window.
