What's the deal with Audible now?

Did they say sorry for calling their customers 'terfs' when people complained they withdrew advertising from Mumsnet ? I cancelled my membership at the time and they are now offering me a very attractive deal to come back, but I won't if they are still arseholes who think women should shut up.

I spent many an hour going round in circles with chatbot2000 and was told that the relevant department was definitely, absolutely looking into it and would get back to me. This was what, June?

I’m not stalkerish so don’t know if the horrible member of staff is still there.

My daughter keeps asking me for Audible books but I refuse to spend my money with them. It’s a shame, as they have a good product. But poor attitude to female customers.

They stopped letting a woman sell her feminist stuff on there, but I think they backtracked.

I saw their adverts on Mumsnet a couple of times over the summer which surprised me. I guess they waited for it to blow over and didn't actually cancel their advertising (nor respond to the complaints and questions from women)?

I was startled at the Etsy bannings listed here, so took a look. I did see some pro JK Rowling merchandise along with the hateful anti stuff. Only saw a single Adult Human Female shirt, though.

Searched for Adult Human Female on Etsy and found one item matching that sentence as well as a "realistic sex doll" (barf) and "stop sexualizing my tits" t-shirt. What a mess.
Adult Human Females are probably the majority of Etsy's customers and sellers so I really hope they don't turn full on TRA. So many women get their income from that site.

It was in the summer. There was a rumour that they had pulled their sponsorship here because someone had a tantrum. People SMed one of their identified staff on twitter to ask. She then tweeted about all the DMs which has been sent for her by Ts hahahahaha - it was slightly sinister too.

People complained, she locked her account and went ‘boohoo meanies’.

Audible played dumb. Kept playing dumb, refused to comment.

The etsy situation is fucking ridiculous. That they actually sent an email starting that 'adult human female' is banned as it is offensive to people with a different 'gender', yet actively allow threats of violence and such towards women for..well being adult human females, its fucking vile.

Had no idea audible had fallen also. Dh uses that a lot as he is dyslexic..sure we can find somewhere else though.

It is just a computer driven annoying, pestering programe. They will do it to all ex customers all the time as part of the business model. It not a response to anything. Unfortunately.
