I am another who used my full name for the first time. I had a wobble, my name is unusual, and so identifies my husband and children too. I sat there thinking how on earth it had come this, took a deep breath and signed.

I'm a coward. My full name is incredibly identifying (think very unusual first name combined with an unusual surname from another culture). Any search of my full name and the top results are me. I also go by a shortened version of my name sometimes (still unusual but not unique). So I used the latter. I wish now that I hadn't.

I used my full married name and my (niche) professional letters emboldened!

I can just imagine the growing panic in those well known people who sided with the TRA woke brigade, as the list of signatures, especially from other well known/famous people grows. They’ll be sitting trying to work out how to climb over that fence, without being spotted. 😁

Oh, I'd never realised they were related. Apart from her own work, Anne Fine edited a series of children's anthologies which delighted my DD, especially the pairing of all things bright and beautiful with Eric Idle's All Things Dull and Ugly - which she sang with great gusto. highly recommended.
