Good article. This is the sort of questions and pressure that needs exerting on the Scottish Government now.

For these are large and important questions. As Gendered Intelligence, a trans activist group, once helpfully explained: “A woman is still a woman, even if she enjoys getting blow jobs.” Does the first minister agree with this? Her government certainly appears to.

I’m glad this was included, I hadn’t seen this quote before and people need to see what these organisations are actually saying.

That quote... how starkly horrible

For in addition to non-binary people and those who have transitioned, the hate crime bill also defines “a person who cross-dresses” as a “transgender” individual. Well, at the risk of being blunt, just as wearing a kilt does not make you a Scot even if you think it does, so a man in a dress is not transformed into a woman simply by his choice of clothing.

It's about time that the umbrella under which cross dressers expect to be called women, was publicised. It rarely, if ever, gets mentioned.

That quote says it all really. Deliberately offensive to coherent thought, external reality and linguistic integrity.

That comment should surely bring the validity of their consultation into question. A consultation is not legally a valid consultation if the decision is already made.

Regardless of who were the targets or the legitimacy or otherwise of the grievance against them and Mr Hunt, using an MPs name as rhyming slang for an insult is in my view totally unacceptable behaviour by another MP.

Full scale war going on within the SNP now. Rhiannon Spear in one corner, with her TWAW and supporting the right to have a career as a prostitute. Said she founded Gen Yes and the actual founder was slightly miffed. Has now resigned from the party.
