Amnesty UK - Sexism Quiz

Maybe this has been covered previously but I am surprised that Amnesty UK, who appear to be a division of Stonewall, have the gall to have a quiz on Sexism. t.co/TrR0ZLdQsF?amp=1

How can sexism even exist if sex isn't real?

I commented on their FB page in a rage but then deleted it out of cowardice.

The link doesn't make it clear but on their Twwitter & FB pages they call it their Sexism quiz.

From their website:

For women around the world, a courtroom can often mean anything but justice.

Women still face discrimination and harmful stereotypes – even from the systems meant to protect them.

At Amnesty, we believe the legal system should protect women's rights, not perpetuate sexism.

I wonder what their definition of 'woman' is?

They're hypocrites, but it's a good quiz IMO , especially if you need to deal with idiots who deny the ongoing reality of sexism.

Why do men want to be women and put up with shit like being jailed for not doing laundry or removing a headscarf?

SheWhoMustNotBeHeard · 11/08/2020 17:04

That's a good quiz. Highlights some of the discrimination that women face.

I have no idea their definition of women though, otherwise I would put it on Twitter

I don't see a great problem in using something like this regardless of whether Amnesty pretends not to know what a woman is elsewhere. None of these instances relate to anyone other than actual women.

Not exactly a definition, but they said this:

Our understanding of gender-based oppression is not rooted in biology as such but in understanding womanhood as diverse and varied, with trans women's experiences holding an additional layer of bigotry and hatred in the form of transphobia as well as sexism.

From here:
www.mumsnet.com/Talk/womens_rights/3940685-Response-from-Amnesty-about-their-view-on-womens-trans-rights

So according to them, 'trans women' are more oppressed than actual female women.

yeah but that’s in far away countries where the unenlightened live...it’s different here
