Just checked FB. Still no women's stories... Although there is another woman with head chopped off pic! Grin

please don't undermine the man's experience.
I didnt breastfeed my first because my partner wasn't supportive. If he had read about the nights and sleep being easier (which it was with my subsequent breastfed babies) maybe he would have been.

also every womans experience is different - I hardly slept a wink for 6 months with my first formula fed, cot sleeping baby, however with my second breastfed, bedsharing baby I slept through almost completely. breastfeeding came very easily and the baby hardly had an impact on our life. I agree with him about getting ready to go out.
his experience was my experience to a tee.
It may not be another woman's experience- or another man's experience but whether he is doing the work or not his experience is still valid.

I agree 'we' don't breastfeed though its a bit like 'we are pregnant' which is a bit naff but whatever, some people like that talk.

men are more likely to read a man's story and be able to relate to it. womens breastfeeding stories are important but mens are too.
if you want men to get it they have to discuss it without being ridiculed too.
