I have just voted for JK Rowling for Kings Cross.

You know, I really wasn't going to bother - but read some of those twitter replies, about jk being hateful and spreading bile - huh!? Wtaf??! So I have filled it in and nominated her - who else for Kings Cross anyway!!??

My hope is that Emma Watson feels a bit of a nob about her very public support for mermaids before too long....

I wanted to be harsher on my pp, but I'm aware it is hard to stick your head above the parapet with this issue, especially if it will have career repercussions. I'm a total hypocrite as I'm not willing to share GC posts on my FB (we have a transwomen in the family which makes it even more difficult). But Emma Watson could at least have sat on the fence a little.

This inspired me to find some inspirational women this morning. I've found out the first 'official' female doctor in the UK was born in Whitechapel (Elizabeth Anderson Garrett). Love her or hate her, Margaret Thatcher is an obvious choice for Westminster. How about replacing Harrow with a famous girls school instead. Then I got stuck...

Voted for JKR, also Elizabeth Garrett Anderson (Euston) and Rachel Heyhoe Flint (The Oval or St John's Wood). Will add others as they occur.

Agreed re Margaret Thatcher although never voted for her. If were to get it the wokey- cokey explosions of outrage would be a joy to see.

I also nominated Kara Ingla Smith for St Pauls as it's the nearest stop to the old Bailey where so many men are (not) convicted for their violence against women that she documents.

Magdalen Berns isn't remotely in the category of women who deserve a station allocated to her.

I've never heard of WOW so I looked at their website.
