I loved popping over to the Standing for Women website this morning and giving a contribution to the billboard/'birthday gift' for JKR as well as a message of encouragement.

I wish they'd stop using cis as a word. It's becoming mainstream and in a "reputable" paper as well.

Hmm. I don’t think the independent is reputable anymore. It’s going for pure click bait. They had a shocking article written by a TRA a month or so ago about how the government is “mandating state violence against trans people” by failing to reform the GRA. It was pure emotive assertion unsupported by fact, including as to suicide stats. I complained and got a patronising lecture about free speech.

I can. They were supposed to take it down. That was the entire point of paying for it to go up. I wish I had Posie's PR skills, I really do.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Network Rail said: “The poster in question is against our code of acceptance for advertising in our stations owing to its political nature. We do not allow advertising that is likely to support or promote one viewpoint over another.”

She doesn’t seem to be particularly bothered whether people like her or not.

Which probably drives the TRAs mad. I doubt they can comprehend the idea of not wanting or needing validation.
